  • I have multipile player objects. I want to zoom my game out enough to they all will be seen.

    I think that this is most easily be done by just calculating distance between objects and doing re-scaling with it. Higher number, less zoom. If you have better idea to do the same, I'll accept it as answer as well.

    So, how to calculate higest distance between like +4 same objects?

  • As construct has it's Shadowcaster object, is there any method to trigger event when object is overlapped by shadow?

    If Sprite Overlapped by Shadow (tag:""):

    ----Sprite add 1 to Value

    I don't have any examples, as this question is so clear and I need so many games needing this in this very form.

  • With the canvas plugin (search it on the forum), you should be able to just screenshot the part you actually want.

    As for choosing to display an image from the computer, the filechooser object is the way to go.

    After a brief research I found nothing. Maybe I skipped something, but biggest problem is that English is not my primary language ^ ^' So there is los broblemos.

  • I'm making card maker for my own card game and i need something which which turns this humble of objects into an image.

    Card maker idea is that there is text boxes where you type your text and they appear in text objects in 'card'. Setup is ready, just screen capture is needed.

    I know to make a canvas screenshot & load it, but it takes picture from whole canvas element. I need to take picture from card only.

    Aaaand is it possible to make thing that chooses images from your computer for sprite? I already have URL-based image setting but this could be more useful.

  • Thank you. That helped me a lot, but can you tell also how to scroll to object X whose UID is same as selected?

  • I'm making turn-based strategy game. It has limit that you cannot just scroll to enemy's basement, you must send units there. This may sound as trivia but it is important to know.

    So in the moment, if you click your own unit, game will scroll towards it. That is one way to select an unit. But there should also be another way to select units- i tough something like a list of unit objects in-game, and when you click any of them in list game scrolls to clicked one. But i have no idea how to do it.

    Can you tell me how to do it or something like it?

  • i want to enemy move towards player when distance ( distance variable is 120 or less) for 5 seconds. Then enemy walks to random directions.

    i have made these already to AI:

    -distance variable

    -distance variable calculation event

    -random enemy movement "when variable noticed is false"

    how you do recommend me to do?
