  • In my opinion it's more of being active than luck.Having a base of players to play your game before you launch it is what I work on now.I am currently working on android gaming and it is more about social connections than about the game,and for those who make these type of games there are a few tips you can find on either internet or from your own experience.

    I've seen great,great game on android that had like 1k downloads because they were not appealing at that time.

    1 month ago a flappy bird clone could have made like 200 dollars a month or even more,now it's down and we are waiting for the next thing we can copy.

    So you can make money without luck or experience in the domain,but you have to put time and a little bit of research in it.

    Naji games are great as an engine to work on,but they lack graphics and that spark for making it appealing.

    If I knew C2 as Naji do I could finish my game in weeks,but I don't so I need to rely on my skills.

  • I am working on a side-scroller and encountered a problem.

    I started from the example auto-runner and moved on trough the project.

    My problem is this,the game gradually get speed over time and everything is fine until I jump.When jumping at high speed the player seems to get extra .x and when landing on ground he slides back to the last position.

    This might be hard to understand so I will post a capx with enough speed to see the problem.

    It's a bit messy and got another problem(which I would like someone to explain for me) where the player jumps about 5 time forward to about 10 pixels if it is hold back.

  • As stated in the title I want to know how do I make my basic stick character a ragdoll upon death?Any tuts available for this kind of thing?

    But one more thing,I want the coin to spawn everytime that particular block appears on the screen and only spawn once.

  • As stated in the title,I want to spawn coins(collectibles) on random generated objects at a random interval,how could I do that?I have tried imagepoints but got nowhere.

  • I try to make an obstacle with a gap between polygons,like an a sprite made out of 2 sprites that I can spawn trough the event system.

  • I want to create obstacles similar to the game stick run cdn.sheeparcade.com/resources/mmo/images/screenshots/stick-run_3.jpg but I don't want to use families,is it possible to do that without them?Or is it imperative to buy the full edition?
