  • Hi guys,

Currently I'm experimenting on a shop/inventory sub-system. One of the things that I want to try on is to set a multiplier/max number allowed button for the shop.

    For example,

    1. I have 1000 coins.

    2. Price for Item A is 11.

    3. Clicking on a buy max button with Item A selected will spend all my coins on Item A.

    4. I should end up with 90 item A and 10 Coins left.

Where is the starting point for this?

    What do I need?

Obviously I will need at least a button...

  • Sorry for the late reply!

I took the bait long ago and is now swimming with the fishies in the tank.

Laura: Thanks for the answer! We ended up only purchasing one license as we only have one coder and he'll be using C3 almost all the time. The rest of us aren't really useful on that front since we, uh, can't code to save our lives. :)

mOOnpunk: We belong in the latter category (we are not a registered business in any ways). Project size is... ambitious (God bless our souls).

  • Hi all,

As per the title. I'm still learning on how to do things with Construct 3 and one of the things I want to learn about is making a clicker game. I've been playing around and I eventually ran into this problem where the numbers would simply explode on screen.

Referring to many of the clicker games, they simply change big numbers into alphabets. Like 1,000 into 1 K, 1,000,000 into 1 Mil, 1,000,000,000 into 1 Bil, etc.

My question is how do I go about coding this with C3?

I cannot for the life of me figure this out...

    Any help provided is appreciated!

  • Hello there!

I'm part of avery new team and is considering to buy a license for Construct 3. Just a few questions.

While it sounds obvious, just want to double check that the Personal License is only useable by one user? So if another person on my team would like to use the programme, I will need to purchase another license, correct?

On the other hand, the Business Licenses opens a number of seats at time of purchase... which is equal to the number of concurrent users allowed, correct?
