Hi, I've read that post before and I just reread it, just in case I missed something. But not once does it mention NWjs and I still don't understand if it applies to NWjs! NWjs as I understand it is its own browser with nothing else running but your game. If "under the hood" Windows sees NWjs as just another Chrome process and groups it with other Chrome processes running, then I could see it being a major benefit. But if NWjs is only "based on chrome" but not actually chrome how would worker help? Sorry if that blog post spells it out and I am just not getting it, but I honestly don't understand.
does improved performance running Web Worker apply at all the NWjs?
that last part about making everything on a layer non-interactable with 1 bool is very powerful. way to bury the lead! 3D stuff is cool, but still not as important as the 2D stuff...

I haven't tried it yet but do you think it would be good for bullet/laser beam type effects? since normally you'd stretch a sprite out but the end would always be flat, now you can taper it maybe?
its a great idea to keep screenshots from those days...I definitely have nostalgia when it comes to 2011 scirra! (although I still miss the old search function over this new site, its SO much harder to find things on the forums!)

good stuff! you can also use the FSM behavior (3rd party addon) which really helps define the turns with triggers.
