    so how did you guys handle video/intro sequence on cocoon? I m not sure how to handle this in webview. Is there a tutorial? Or do i have to do all the sequence/animations in Construct ?? Hope not :/

  • The art looks really good if you ask me. You're quite a talented artist. Gameplay-wise it's not bad since it's aiming for mobile, where simplicity is often best. Two things though: on finishing the first level, it took me to the second page of the levels, even though the next level (aka level 2) was on the first page. Second, autohiding buttons isn't that hard. There's a System condition called 'Is on mobile device'. Just invert that and make it kill or hide the buttons.

    Hi Leaufai, thanks for the feedback yes i forgot to meniton that the levels screen is also WIP - it unlocks the second area - this is just for test purposes right now. But thanks for mentioning. The buttons will be of course also hidden in the final version .

    Some new update on my game Dragonhero - a pixel platformer with 2 playable characters. A sumo warrior and his dragon against a cruel stone army terorising the land and stealing the precious lampions.

    So far i have a playable version with 4 levels. There are plenty of WIP placeholders but the game graphics (not all areas yet however) and mechanics are pretty much done. As the game is intended first for cocoonJS {iOS}, so far i havent implemented auto buttons hide (if keyboard detected), so sorry for the sprite buttons if you dont play on mobiles. Also there will be different types of music in menu and in levels. I tested it on iphone5, ipad2, Huawei tablet, HTC one mini. Performance should be overal good but it can be a bit slow on iphone4. I would like to know what you think and every opinion is much appreciated!

  • marcel1980 - I'm only going to ask what I asked before, because I need to know! Which browsers have you tried on which devices and is it the same across all of them?

    Hi Ashley, it happens on my desktop imac (Bootcamp WIN) when running in Opera and Chrome. IE is functioning without problems. Also when i export via cocoonJS and test on iphone5, everything seems ok.

    Im having the same problem. Previewing my platformer game and ocasionaly everything freezes for about 4 seconds. Any ideas yet??

    Iceberg games (me) is preparing a retro pixel platformer with a brave and mean sumo warrior as the main hero...and a dragon of course

    Description:

    Explore 3 different areas in 45 levels and defeat the cruel stone army! Our hero is not alone on his journey. Nearly in every level he can find a dragon and fly with him troughout the level! Eventualy the dragon will land and our hero can continue on his own again and use his jump, charge attack and fireballs to fight off monsters.

    The game is planed mainly on iOS/Android/HTML5 (in this order to be seen )

    Features:

    45 highly dynamic levels

    3 different areas to explore

    2 awesome characters to play with: a sumo warrior and a flyable dragon, each with unique gameplay and control mechanics

    collect 3 lampions in each level to obtain highest score

    use charge attack (high speed), fireballs or jump to destroy enemies

    various enemies and traps

    The game is planed to be available on Christmas time when everything goes well. Website is currently in development and also a video will be available soon.

    I had a lot of fun creating this game and aimed for a fun and polished experience ! Every feedback is appreciated

    i cant figure out, how to make my enemy AI stop at certain event. I can simulate left/right/jump, but the stop, couldnt figure out so far.
