  • I am curious on how to do the following:

    I have 3 levels... Player can go back to lvl 1 or lvl 2 or lvl 3 to replay using a level select menu.

    My challenge is:

    If Player Collects Coins In Lvl 1

    Then player goes to Level Select Menu.

    Player goes back to play Lvl 1 to play again...

    Is there a way to not populate the coins the player already has picked up?

  • What is best way to load the last layout the player was just on?

    I have a game, which player:

    + Plays Level 1

    + Then Player Goes To Upgrade Area(Layout)

    I would like to know how to create events

    where The Player can to Go Back to Last Layout

    they came from.

  • I would like to build a vault of coins..

    Where the player would click on sprite and the amount of coins in variable would release to the bottom of the vault, stacking the coins.

    I am unsure of which behavior to use for the coins.

    + Physics

    + Bullet

    + MoveTo

    I prefer not to have the coins vibrate when they hit the ground and be able to be stacked.

    Also, each time the player comes back to his vault, the coins would be spawned again.

    Any suggestions on which behavior to use for this type of mechanic.

    Basically I am looking to make a scrooge Mc Duck type of vault where the players can drop coins and load them up in the vault.

  • Hey folks, trying to grasp the idea on how to find out to do the following:

    +If player touches and holds screen(in touch) for more then 2 second...

    Does construct allow in touch to be calculated by how long the player holds down on the screen.

    I am trying to do the following:

    + If player or holds down screen for more then 2 seconds, then gets a burst of speed to that position.

    Or... the other way..

    + If player taps on screen 2x (quickly.. like double tap). then the player gets boost.

    Any ideas on how to do either of these.

    I didn't know pathfinding has mechanic to follow your touch path. I thought only it would follow path between objects to get to next waypoint.

    LittleStain - i tried modifying the capx before, but had no luck bc after selecting a moving rocket, the rocket would need to go towards the touch location then follow the path. But that capx the trigger that followed the path was Rocket Speed > 0.... my rocket already was greater then 0.. so wasn't sure what would be good trigger after clicking on rocket to get it to follow path.

    Then Draw A Path For This Sprite

    Then The Sprite Follows The Path

    Does anyone have a tutorial on how to do this?
