nutcase84 - it can still determine its portrait/landscape orientation from the accelerometer, using the direction of gravity. That doesn't mean it has a gyroscope.
Can I do the same thing with my app?
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
I think you would have to ask the people that make it. Process of elimination would suggest that if the program works on other devices, and doesn't on yours then it's probably hardware, and not software.

I really really doubt that this device doesn't have a gyroscope, since it can go into landscape mode when i tilt it.
If it has no gyroscope then why can i tilt it sideways and the app turns with it?

I'm making a app for Firefox OS, it's going to be a game like doodle jump. So it works great on my iPhone, iPad, and Android phone, but when I try to test it on my ZTE Open C, it won't work. It says that the gamma is constantly 0. Help please!
this is what I use... seems to work fine for me. margin:0; padding:0;border:none; no spaces no <style>tags no nothing... just that in the iframes style settings. good luck! nutcase84
