Hi I have a student making the following game

Which when the silver ball collides with the green circle it moves

2 Questions :

• How do you create momentum so that the ball can move forwards and then come to a stop after a short time

• Slow down the movement so that the user can see the Green ball moving.

In my students game he has a character sprite that has two animatiomn frames (One without the object and One with) In the layout the sprite is showing Frame 1(without) but when run it changes immediately to frame 2.The student had set collosion with object to destroy the sprite and change frame is the correct approach?

How do I lock the position of a sprite so that it cannot move outside the white box shown above?
