If you only create xdk project with "Import an Existing HTML5 Project", then you don't need to manually add native plugins any more. (c2 will do all the native plugin install works for you automatically)

I've tried it on my iPod touch and keep seeing debug messages pop up and the documentation makes it sound like it's close, so I was wondering if it was nearing completion? If you need any help testing it, I can try to help

These native plugins does not run on emulator.

So install the apk on real device and test.

And other important thing: when create xdk project, use c2 r185~ and "Import an Existing HTML5 Project"

Phonegap WebViewPlus worked for me, too.

Phonegap WKWebView showed black screen.

So I will mark Phonegap WKWebView with "(please wait before making this work)"

I use phonegap cli, so no experience in xdk sign.

But if you build your apk in release mode, that's what can be used (can be uploaded to google play).
