Im trying to move one of my old characters from a previous game to my next one, but I cant copy paste it. Does anyone know how to move assets from one project to another?

So Im trying to make a two player platformer where both people play using the same keyboard, this is what I got so far:
Using WASD moves player 2, but arrows seem to move both. I'm really lost at this point.
