  • loving this it's really well done. Awesome work. great showcase of Constructs ability's

  • basically with the free edition you should not be making money with construct. With the personal you are allowed up to 5000 dollars made before you have to upgrade to a business license

Here the info from the licensing page

    1. Free Edition

The Free Edition is permitted for use by anyone for non commercial use. Commercial use counts as but is not limited to: use within any business (other than limited testing for suitability), generating advertising revenue, selling or licensing generated content or intention or capability to generate revenue.

    2. Personal Edition

Personal Edition Licenses are permitted for use by one named individual. No one else apart from this named individual is permitted to make use of the license. Personal Edition Licenses are strictly prohibited for use within business organisations (these organisations must use Business Edition Licenses) except in the instance of Startup Businesses (refer to b.4 for more information).

The license is non transferable in any way, including but not limited to: resale, transfer of license/rights, lending.

The individual is permitted to make up to $5,000 USD lifetime revenue (or equivalent in other currencies/payments/benefits) from their creations. This includes but is not limited to revenue generated through advertisments, in app purchases, sale of content, licensing of content, contract work.

If you generate more than the above stated revenue you must ugprade your Personal Edition License into a Business Edition license within 14 days regardless of if you intend to continue use of your license or not.

    3. Business Edition

Business Edition licenses are permitted for use by anyone. They have no limits on revenue generation.

Business purchasing these licenses can either:

Issue the license to a named employee. This employee is permitted to install and use the license on any machine for activities relating to the Business who purchased the license. No one else in the business is permitted to make use of this license in any capacity.

To a single machine. The license may be installed on a maximum of one machine at any one time, for use by only one concurrent user.

If the license is issued to a named employee and that employee is no longer under employment by the business, the license is no longer valid for use. You are allowed a reissue of the license, to do this please email a copy of the license to Scirra. We will then revoke the Business License and issue you with a new Business License.

  • Glad you figured it out. Since your new to C2 i recommend you make your way through the manual https://www.scirra.com/manual/1/construct-2 as it can help you get a understanding on good practices. Going through the Top tutorials here https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/top is also very helpful at answering/figuring out a lot of beginner questions

  • Thats how is is suppose you works it can only scale in integer positions I.e 1x,2x,3x

you should take a look at this https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/73/sup ... sizes#h2a3

have you tried just using letterbox Scale as that wont shouldn't deform and works just like letterbox integer scale but will scale and # like 1.2, 2.5, 3.2321 if need to fill the screen as much as it can while maintaining aspect ratio?

    for the manual

Letterbox integer scale mode is identical to Letterbox scale mode, preserving the aspect ratio, but it also only zooms to an integer scale. For example it will only scale at 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x etc. and never at something like 2.5x. This is important for games using Point sampling (usually retro style) to preserve exact pixel-perfect accuracy when scaling the game. This also means black bars can appear at both the sides and top and bottom.

  • The answer is really yes and no. If you don't optimize for mobile it will be slow(Image size, physics, bad events ), but if you design with care and test frequently on intended devices ranges you can get some really great games on android

  • try just re-selecting your icons and 25mb is great

  • kossglobal yes i did and saw the same thing Social saw that's why I asked if it worked on Xdk emulator because normally if your project is missing files it will crash

  • does your game work using the Xdk built in emulator?

  • It looks like your new here. I recommend You make your way through the Top Tutorials located here https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/top they can help with alot of the problems people encounter when New to C2. You should also make your way through the manual located here https://www.scirra.com/manual/1/construct-2 as it helps get you up to speed on editor features making learning alot easier

  • Without knowing the steps you took it's hard to help you. Can you explain the steps you took? Can you explain how you exported? Have you tried using a template included with C2 as a basic project to see if your export right?

  • I believe the Browser object's On back buttons Event works.

  • View the build log and post it here the picture you posted doesn't help us help you
