  • R0J0hound it works in CocoonJS latest perfectly!!! Thank you. Now I can load a massive white star and unload it on demand Lazyloading on CocoonJS YEAH

  • Tried using the a Load Image to sprite. It works perfectly in Chrome in preview but on CocoonJS Canvas+ the profiler shows that it still retains the image even when I destroy the sprite containing it.

Any idea how to do this? I've been trying to find a good way to load and unload a few massive images that are essential to the project, but rare.

    Thank you

  • R0J0hound, First I have to quickly say THANKYOUFOREVERYTHING. This plugin is awesome. Second and less caps-locky...

I've been trying to load large images only when I need them, and then kill them off. I have a few 2048x2048 and I want to run the whole thing on iPhone. I managed to load the png inside the Paster but when I destroy it or load another image, memory still stays full. Now release in memory can be detected in CocoonJS ram profiler nor the Construct 2 data on debug. Is there a workaround on this? Can I empty unused items in the Plugin?

    Thank you once again

  • volkiller730 what about ejecta 2.0?

  • Managed to make a font work in Canvas+, which looks awful since it compresses and lowers colors or something. Webview+ which looks great in CocoonJS isn't showing the font. This hole has no end

  • I scoured the earth for some info on this. Forums here, manuals, this https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/237/ho ... nts?page=2

    But nothing works out.

Is there any possible way to use a custom font with CocoonJS without a net connection, so local storage of the font? I seem to only find 2-3 years old threads explaining how to do that but none work out.

Any help is appreciated (Spritefonts won't do unfortunately)

  • This doesn't work anymore on CocoonJS for some reason. Anyone knows a workaround?

  • Me neither and I've been reading through and trying out tens of combinations and bug solutions. It's ridiculously complicated for a font.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Why don't you test it to see if you need them?

  • nichekeys does intel xdk support webgl?

  • So much goodness here. Thank you oh great R0j0Hound. If I make what I'm intending to make, you get a BILLION free copies!!

  • Oh but I used CocoonJS. In fact, I used the nonpro version. Which used to have a limit on uploads, but I'm not absolutely certain what that limit was
