    I would like to share with you mine dilemma regarding preformance on certain Apple device.

    Iw tested in web preview my current work on several devices found in local Apple store.

    Naturaly iPhone5 is fastest and it gives 40-50 fps

    iPad 4 performed 35-40 fps

    iPod touch performed 30-35 fps

    iPad 2 performed 25-30 fps

    iPhone4S performed 5-10 fps (tested on several devices)

    i was shocked to see iPhone4S to perform so poorly since its specs are identical to iPad2 or iPod touch5.

    Can anyone enlighten me how is that possible?

    Is there a way to detect a type of device (eg. iphone3, iphone4 / 4S or iphone5) game is playing on, so that it can set details accordingly?

  • Looks nice, but when i run it in preview on Iphone5 it just dont looks like it shud... theres no any effects. :(

    And it's a fps killer, i got on iPhone5 2-4 fps :(

    I am looking for someone that i capable to develop a fluid (water, oil) similar to "wheres my water" or "sprinkle" wich can run smooth on iPhone 3/4 devices with atleest 40 fps in web preview when theres atleest 100 drops on screen (maybe theres no need to be 100 drops if that ammount can be properly simulated).

    Fluid is not needed to make a splashes etc. but to nicely pores down across obstacles.

  • seems to me that you just need to spawn it on background layer , not on the same layer as player is.

    I have some trouble with "pick nearest".

    Problem is that player is on one layer and enemies are on second layer that is rotating so "pick nearest" does not work properly becouse when layer is rotated to 180 it picks farthest...

    :(

    Any ideas how to solve this?

  • Thank you for clearing that out for me... this will hopefully help me maintain decent FPS and playability.

  • I have one doubt on how is C2 treating images...

    Lets say that i have sprite and in his animation settings i set size 512,512 but in the layout i set that sprite size to... lets say 10,10.

    Is C2 treating that immage as 512x512 or as 10x10 when executing or exporting?
