    Let me share my game for Android - Xen Melee PvP. This is my second project created on Construct 2 engine. Thanks a lot to C2 developers for excellent product with great UI and fantastic logic.

    Take part in the exciting PvP combats of the aliens for two players at one mobile device.

    The Game Features:

    The various designs of the alien spacecrafts, combat's extra bonuses, level settings and even a game with the computer AI. The game does not require an Internet connection or Wi-Fi data transfer. As an opponent, you can choose your friend or computer AI.

    The direction changes of the flight occurs each time when you touch a movement control button. The shooting works automatically when you approaching the enemy for a short distance.

    The Rules of The Game:

    1. Please, select a spacecraft type and the space object that will be placed in the center of the field (star, planet, black hole, empty space) on the main menu screen.

    2. You start a game with three lives and a full of energy charge of the defensive shields of your spacecraft. If the shields get lost - the player loses one life. The game passes several rounds, until one of the players loses all their lives. If both players lost all their lives at the same time, then the victory will be counted towards the player who scored more game points.

    3. The Game Bonuses:

    • additional score points,
    • bad bonus (large loss of the defensive shields energy),

    With time limit:

    • increase the rapidity of fire,
    • increase the movement speed,
    • invisibility for enemy weapons,
    • the mines setting.

    4. The space objects in the center of the game field:

    • a star: damages defensive shields;
    • a planet: opens fire from the orbital stations;
    • a black hole: makes a total damage and you will lose one life;
    • empty space: does not affect.

    5. The direction changes of the flight occurs each time when you touch a movement control button. The shooting works automatically when you approaching the enemy for a short distance.

    Please, don’t forget to read instruction by touch "?" button on main menu screen.

  • Hello!

    I just started use Coocon.io service to make APK and got some issue with the sounds in my game project. In ready android project after some time the sounds fx is lost, but background sound may continue still plays (or never plays). I put all sounds fx into Sounds folder in Cunstruct 2 IDE and background into Music folder.

    I use Canvas+. I even have installed "native audio plugin" but it isn't helps.

    I have no idea what I suppose to do now...

    Anybody got same issue and have any ideas?

    I just found an information about that issue:

    1. "On the version of Canvas + 2.1.0 everything works correctly! Use Cocoon version: 2.1.0 on this versin work!"

    2. "I change to using cocoon version:2.1.0 it’s ok for my project. If using cocoon version:2.2.0–> sound is silent after 2 minutes play game or change to layout. Project export by construct 2 r250"

    3. "i can confirm no audio also in cocoon version:2.2.0"

    Yes, I agree with you and I guess the way to use a feature like LocalStorage and save all variables as you need is one true ways. Anyway, I'll able to control each variables as I want. Inspite of stack of code on layout start it will be a correct way as programming, actually.

  • and my another idea:

    for example I have three layouts for locations with names: locA, locB, locC. Now, I'm on the local locB and I have two exit point from the left to the locC and from the right to the locC.

    1. when I reach to the exit point to the locA I'll save data by "Save" (remember its save data about player stay at locB).

    2. I'll change cur_locaction_id as a global var to locA.

    3. go to layout locA.

    4. load data by "Load" method, but I remember that in this data player at locB.

    5. move player to the exit point to locA, because he just came from there.

    6. save data by "Save" method, because now he arrived at locA.

    7. and I'll do the "Save" method in situations as get and drop items, quest progress, etc.

    Hmm... looks not good.... But in other case -- save and load data only thru LocalStorage (as another way to do that) -- looks like a hard work.

  • Hello!

    I start to do a new game where each locations has own layout in the project. The player can leave location when he enters into an exit point object (for example: portal, door, etc.). Then I change the layout by the action command "go to layout by name" and so on. The player can went back in this location again from another location.

    In this situation I need to store data and I have no idea yet about true way of data save (locations, quests progress, NPC status, etc).

    I guess I need to store some data by LocalStorage and another data by "Load/Save" method for save or load whole state. Anyway, I have no idea what will be a good true way for that. Perhaps, I must to save each location into separate save slot by "Save" method and keep another data as current location id variable in LocalStorage.

    Maybe another way. Anyway, if I'll be save data by "Save" method after the player leave a location and "Load" again on a new location -- the data will be load from the last save.

    In short I need your help - how to do all of this correctly!
