I have updated the drivers and it seems that it works with the r258 version, but it is rare that it has to be updated by the google chrome.

No, in the debug layout, when player 1 touches player 2, the particle variable is triggered but it is not displayed on the screen.

I just made a clean installation of construct 2 r258 and it's still the same

Tested using r258, Google Chrome 66, nw.js v0.30.0 on Windows 7 Pro x64

No works for me and works for me using r255 or r256, Google Chrome 66, nw.js v0.30.0 on Windows 7 Pro x64

All the projects I had after the r257 version even do not work well, either the plugin particles, bullet, etc.
