  • Please, can anyone give me a solution?

    I wanna get a multiline text box with a vertical scroll (read-only) .

    So i could add lines (so newer lines are at bottom) and the newer lines should be visible (vertical scroll is on bottom after a line is added).

    Something like this (only the multiline text box):

    It's the only thing i can't schedule on my game.

  • presently i have about 5 sprites in a family, i want to drag and drop any of the members into a particular position, however when i want to drop another of the members such that it overlaps the one that was ther before, i would like the old one to be removed and placed back in its inital position, while the new one dragged takes the position.   • RookieDev, I also need an effect like this in my work, but I've been holding on. But just got an idea from what LittleStain said (although that might not solve my own problem) why can't you inventory list be a layer that is always visbile( the oda game area is the remaining dimension, you camn follow my signature link to see how I cut out a part of the layout into a layer which is always visible), then you can add the scrolling effect to that layer like LittleStain said.

  • LittleStain, thanks a lot, that lenght idea would be cool but I still have to bother on how to keep it pivot at the centre, but would try and figure out the rest and d necesaary maths for the angle n lenght. Thanks.

  • Cipriux, thanks I've been able to download the 152 now and viewed the capx, my major challenge wasn't implemeting a normal knob. But when I try to position the knob where I want it. More like a the seat of a chair in a picture, the circle gets distorted from a perfect circle so u actually seed the circle rotating with ur turning and then the distribution also behaves a bit wierd. That's the major challenge. I put up a picture of the heater I want to put the knob on earlie, please help view it. Thanks

  • Is there a way to increase the sensitivity of touch responses on devices? I have the web game, that works well on desktop, but on different mobile devices(tablets and phones) the touch response its hard, requires some muscles to tap and this varies across devices. I'm using an iframe to embed the game on d website,

    I found this link about enabling iframe on ios devices (and that worked, cos ios ppl couldn't use the game at all). But now I'm left with the touch response issue.

    I used the touchwrap object in my project for the touch and mouse objects. Anyhelp would be appreciated

    In general, what can I do to optimize my game for mobile browsers, do I get to open another version when d device is detected as a mobile device or what, some weird things are really happening when playing on mobile, its quite slow and some sprites I used to handle collision whch are nt expected to show at all(as they don't show in desktops) show up on mobile, cos of the slowness.

  • So i'm using construct to develop some virtual laboratories, presently i'm having issues implementing knob control for a heater in one of my experiment scenes, the issue is during rotation, the knob doesn't seem to fit on the position, so the rotation is not smooth, i guess the issue is with positioning my own knob flat on the knob of the heater i'm using.

    an idea of the image is below.

    here is the link to the lab compiled on drop box(not sure how people actually host their games of drop box, but i have the while file here)

    any help on how to deal with the knob rotation would be appreciated.
