    If i would of said i wanted a tile based array system like Terraria i would of damm well said so.Im tired of seeing your posts with extreme sarcasm like everyone is supposed to be on your lvl of programming.I could sit here and write an infinite post on how your sarcasm helps nobody in a real fast way.But why would i? I have seen plenty of your posts where you look at rookie programmers like they are far under you.Dont forget that everyone that uses this software and creates great games not only helps out this community but it also helps the developers and grants them very much needed exsposure.Just because someone dose not now how things work dont think for a second that the person your talking to can learn things in a similar fashion as you.We are all different and the way we all learn is different.All i asked was for some feedback on different ways to achieve a goal.The reason most of us use construct 2 is becuase we are limited to what programming skills we have and most of us did not go to school to learn code.I thank you for your honest remarks but before you start acting like you know what someone wants before they say it you need to take a breath and step back.

    Im looking into finding out some things about infinite terrain and if its possible with construct 2.I was playing around with arrays and figured out with alot of help from the community how to generate an novince style terrain for a sandbox,But im looking to be much more vast,The things i have in my head cannot be limited to a certain size or scope and i would love to learn everyones method on how to create infinite worlds.

    the main reason im looking to swap positions of items is because this game will have chests that the player can swap items to and from.

    I Have no issues with how this inventory works in general,im just trying to add to it.I guess what your saying is i have to rewrite my whole inventory?

  • lennaert thank you for letting me know this,I do understand my inventory as it is right now,Just because i lack the skills to implement a feature i know nothing about does not mean i know nothing about my inventory.I admire your honest remarks but in the end i am still clueless.I want to thank you for your reply to my post because you did teach me a few things.

    The only other person i know that can show me or even tell me how to implement this feature is

    R0J0hound,if you are not busy could you explain to me how i can do this the right way? I dont want to have a faulty system withen my inventory and i know for a fact that you know you stuff when it comes to code.

    Do you know how to implement this feature to the slots on the left?

    What im trying to do is once the item is dragging and over the desired slot i wanted the item to swap places with eachother along with the amount.

    Youve created this in the equipment slots and that isnt the slots for my inventory even tho they will be used aswell.

  • lennaert Im not understanding what you mean by"colored items only fit in certain squares"All the squares are the same as the tile size and Im dragging the red block tile over the orange and they are not swapping positions at all.

  • lennaert Thank you for your help! and Thank EncryptedCow for the great inventory,He created it for me.One question i have is.Can you make it so when i grab an item from the inventory and i drop it on a different slot it replaces it? Thats really what im aiming to do rather than equiping it.

  • Whatsup everyone,

    I am having some issues trying to implement a drag and drop feature within my inventory capX file.

    EncryptedCow is the one i paid to make this for me since at that time i had no experience to comprehend the inventory and arrays.

    I am desperate need of help in regards to this inventory capX,Im trying to figure out how i can make items transfer from one slot to another by drag and drop.That is the last thing i need before i can move forward and im not sure at all how to create the effect within my inventory.

    I just want the player to be able to take his/her finger and drag an item from one slot to another if that is possible.

    This is the final aspect of my inventory for this project i would love to learn from someone who knows of this if possible.

  • Hi everyone,

    I have an issue with my capX file,I cant seem to figure out why i still have these lines in my exported capX. I have one with pixel rounding on and one with piel rounding off.Im not sure what to do about this,when i preview my game before the export it looks fine.Can someone please help me fix this,This is a really bad graphical issue.

    Click The Player and the inventory menu will go Invisible.

    Arrows to move

    Pixel Rounding On

    Pixel Rounding OFF

    Here is the Screenshot Preview.I dont understand why everything is ok there but when i export it,Its not working. Any and all feedback im grateful for
