Like EntityB, I appreciate how Scirra is involved in early web rendering APIs. Let's hope WebGPU has broad, consistent adoption!
Thanks, Ashley, another great update on web graphics tech!
excellent update, thanks!
Amazing, this is great news! The tight integration with Construct Events looks excellent.
And a callout and thanks to valerypopoff for his Javascript add-on, that's let us run javascript for some time within Construct 3.
What a great improvement to Construct functions! The refactoring alone is handy, along with functions being real named "constructs" now.
Yes, the JSON project file bug is fixed!
thanks!
Timeline and binary data, great!
Thanks!
Great!
Yes, thanks, and to be clear it's not a Javascript plugin problem, but rather in how Construct handles these included files.
I'm using Chrome Dev Tools to edit javascript files in a Construct 3 project (using your awesome Javascript plugin). This provides a good editor experience, but I can't see how to get Construct to reload these externally edited files, outside of restarting Construct.
I've tried using both the Windows Store and the NW.js builds of Construct, and both seem to cache external files when they startup. I was hoping someone had a workaround or trick here to get Construct to load external edits in project files. Thanks!
Valera, or anyone, do you have recommendations for using an external editor on JavaScript files in Construct 3? What I see with the Windows Store and desktop build versions of Construct 3 is I have restart Construct to have it load any changes to embedded javascript files.
Thanks for any tips!
