  • It's horrible... I've received the "new budle assets" email more than ten times...

  • I've just integrated it in my app as a HTML5 game... not as a PhoneGap one and it works right.

If you wanna test it, you must try it on a mobile device or you can just use the google chrome emulator to emulate mobile devices.

You can follow this tutorial to learn how to implement leadbolt on a construct2 game: https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/740/ho ... ur-appgame

When setting the size of the ads in the leadbolt portal, set it to auto stretch so you have no problems with different mobile devices.

  • I wanna create a 3D Tactical RPG for consoles...

Someday I'll have the team and the money to make it real =3

It turns out that RenatoB just wanted to lock the orientation, which you can do from Construct2. If you start the phone in portrait or landscape, then it brings up the correct image, without stretching. If you change the orientation while the splash screen is being displayed, then it will stretch the initial splash screen instead of switching. It is something we will fix, but not in the immediate future.

Yes, that's exactly what happens in my case.

Anyways, After the splash screen, I can see a weird half black half white screen for about one second before I see my actual game.

Do you know what I'm talking about or do you want me to take a snapshot of the screen?

    Thanks!

  • Can you send a pm with an apk that shows the problem? My phone and yours have the same resolution, and I cannot reproduce the problem.

To test it, I made 2 different splash screens for landscape and portrait and verified that it brings up the proper splash screen for each orientation. This was for the XHDPI splash screens: 720x1280. I am guessing that you are seeing the problem on HDPI or some other resolution, but I can't test that without a phone. Is there a way you can do the same experiment with your phone so we will know which resolution has the problem?

I also have the problem in moto g with the splash screen. If a turn the phone, the splash screen is stretched to fit the screen and looks horrible.

    Hi there,

We're paying up to $200 (based on how much of the API is implemented) in advance if you implement the API, yes. Have you had a chance to look over the promo page or the API documentation? It's super easy. Since I don't have the rep here yet, I can't post a link, but if you check the other post in this forum, a kind person has linked to the actual promotion. If you have further questions, please ask them there, or simply PM me or email me. It's matt@ (you know the rest)

I just read all the thread about the promo and now I could understand better about what you do with the games submitted. Tomorrow I'll implement the SDK to submit the game =)

I've got only one doubt left... Do I have to take my game out from the GameShop to submit it to this new service? I read it's like a new GameShop for HTML5 where you're gonna publish the game to amazon and other appstore and besides you're gonna offer the game for non-exclusive licenses, so that sounds like the normal GameShop shouldn't be used for HTML5 games now. Am I wrong?

The promo would probably be a good way to start but we first need to see how much memory the game currently wastes, and compare it to the type of it game that it is. If it is an endless runner for example and is wasting 25mb of memory use or greater based on Construct 2's debugger, then we provide optimization tips to reduce the amount of wasted memory. Optimization is a major deal for sponsors and is one big reason why some sponsors wouldn't want to license the game. And as far as I can tell 54 sponsor views is fairly good.

Is it really a major deal? Because I see in Construct2 that the memory use is 78.8mb

I've tried it on iOS and Android devices and it works very good.

  • Till the moment it's had 54 sponsors/buyers views, although most of them were from october to january and after that only some developers and a couple of sponsors have seen the game and it's practically dead in the FGL portal... I know it was my mistake to have it really much time there, but I have no experience selling licenses.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Hi Matt!

About one or two weeks ago I put it in the GameShop, although I'm facing the problem that nobody is viewing the game now... I think its because the game was much time in the normal marketplace (months).

I sent an email about it and someone called Brian told me he was going to tell some HTML5 sponsors about the game to see if they're interested, although I still see no new views on the game, so maybe he hasn't told the sponsors about it yet.

  • Thanks!

This will save me time to distribute my game through all the android's appstores =)

  • Hi awmace5,

Some graphics were made for a guy that's been always working with me in other projects, whilst others I bought'em from shutterstock.

I didn't authored the music, I got'em from an open source music library.
