Hi,

I am trying to create a screen transition:

fade from black/fade to black

when introducing new layouts.

Can someone help me to get this working?

I basically have a black colored sprite

that is same dimensions as the game's screen

and the desired effect would be to change the opacity of the sprite

to show fade from black/fade to black screen transitions.

(fade from black when starting a layout and fade to black when ending a layout)

I'm totally new to "Construct 2" IDE...Help would be appreciated!

Hi,

Are there any screen transitions

(ie: Fade to black/fade from black)

in "Construct 2" when changing Layouts?

For example:

• Game is run
• Game screen is totally black
• Title screen slowly fades in from black
• Player starts new game
• Title screen slowly fades to black
• Playing game screen slowly fades from black

I'm totally new to C2, so perhaps I am missing the obvious...

Hi,

I just bought "Construct 2".

For my first "Construct 2" game project

I would like to make the classic arcade game "Asteroids".

How would I easily replicate the player's ship movement?

Forward applies thrust, left/right changes rotation of the ship.

Solution should include physics of ship movement.
