  • have 2 questions really, if you can help please,

    1st. I would like to create a 2nd layout as a different level, so buildings and objects etc in different positions to 1st layout, but i want to use the events in the 1st

    eventsheet so i dont have to re do all the events again.

    2nd. Is there a better way to make my enemy move towards player and when it hits a solid object i want it to move smoothly around that object, but still heading towards player.

    I would appreciate your input and help.

    Control keys = arrow keys to move player , space to shoot and CTRL to grenade.

  • angeltekno Have a look at this tutorial, Its very good and easy to follow. From what i understand of what you need i think you will find something similar in this tutorial.

  • I think I have got it working, I had to add MIME settings on my pc then upload to dropbox again and seems to be working

    do you have ipad or iphone maybe you could try. I don't have android device so not sure if it works on there.

  • Hi all

    I have exported my game to dropbox and copied the public link of the index.html file. Using my IPad or Iphone I paste the public link address and I can play the game. I then 'Add To Homescreen' so that I can tap on the icon and play the game later without having to re enter public link address every time. This works fine , but I do not get the sound that's in the game. I did read somewhere about making sure the correct MIME types are set, but I have no idea where to look for these, or even if the correct MIME settings are sent when the game is loaded onto the device.

    Can anyone shed any light on this, as to why I don't get the sound on the mobile device. The sound works fine on PC. I have uploaded game to Scirra Arcade and it works fine on there too.

  • Hi all, I have exported my project to html5, I have put a link to my game on my website which is a public link to dropbox. I can play the game on iphone, ipad with no issues and the sound will work. I then Add To Home Screen which gives me the link to game as an icon on ios, but after this I seem to lose the sound. The sound files are only small files and I have placed them in the sound folder of my project. I have read tutorial regarding sound and I have preloaded the sounds on start of layout on 'Start' screen, which the user has to tap to goto 'Game' layout. Once in game layout the user has to tap to start the game. So I figured that the sound would work after the first touch input on the 'Start' layout.

    Any ideas ??

  • Hi all,

    Cannot figure why this is happening , probably something simple I'm overlooking, but I have a infinite flyer type game and when the player hits block moving across the screen the player falls to floor. So I want all blocks to stop moving on screen and any spawned off screen to stop also. But randomly what I get is the blocks do stop, sometimes blocks carry on moving across the screen. How can I stop this.
