  • Thank you very much sir!!

  • I can't download the public addons "You can't access this website"...any idea why?

  • Very cute and "clean" game. Congratulations!!

  • Ashley I think the question is very clear: How do I apply the BBCode to a text object like Text Input? I urgently need that feature, too.

I cannot find the "Enable BBCode" option in the Text Input object. I know I can use the CSS format, but if I want to modify the characteristics of a single word (for example the color), I CANNOT do it.

I hope that this apparently simple problem can be solved. Greetings.

  • Greetings; my problem is this:

I need to use BBCODE features in various texts in my game; however, the problem is that the parts I want to modify with BBCODE (for example the color) are string variables.

For example, I want the text: "Player.name" to be able to use the[color=red] function; however, it does not work.

Thank you very much in advance for your answer.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • There was a deleted object in the layer (but not in the object bar) that still had the Move_To behavior.

Very useful answer, thank you very much!

  • Ok, in short, I want to use the new "experimental" runtime of construct 3.

Previously, my project used these two addons: RexMove_To and LiteTween. Now I have removed EVERYTHING related to these two plugins; including the same plugins from the addon manager. However, every time I want to open my project, C3 asks me to install the plugins (Move_To and LiteTween), and if I don't install them, my project can't even be opened.

P.S. I tried the "safe mode", it didn't work.

P.S2: They are the only two unofficial plugins that my project contains.

What can I do to completely remove everything related to the Move_To and LiteTween plugins from my project?

  • Are they compatible with he new C3 runtime?

  • I think an easier way would be:

    -Pick by nearest

    Mouse.X

    Mouse.Y

  • Or you can use LiteTween addon. It would be much easier, quicker and cleaner.

But unfortunately Scirra is reluctant to adapt it to the new runtime, even though it is extremely useful.

  • The MoveTo and LiteTween extensions are a fundamental tool for working decently with Construct 3.

As a serious developer with a project at an advanced stage, I think it would be best to make the addons compatible with the new runtime, as it would take a lot of time and effort to replace them with a new extension that does the same.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who comes across this problem, and I think we as customers deserve these basic and fundamental tools like MoveTo, LiteTween and Pin To.

  • When I try to use the new runtime , I get a message that prevents me from continuing because I am using two unofficial addons: Litetween and MoveTo...

These two extensions seem to me to be indispensable for the use of C3 in any kind of project, so my question is if I will be able to use the new C3 runtime with these addons in the future. Thanks.
