  • If you put the enemy and the health bar in a Container, when you pick a monster, it'll automatically pick it's health bar too.

  • Easy way? The answer to that depends on your knowledge of XML. You can make your php return an xml file rather than just echo a single variable, then use Construct's XML Plugin to parse the data and put it into your variables.

  • I have a hybrid roguelike/towerdefense game that I'm writing that uses a turn counter system for movement. It runs in realtime, but with 2-3 more lines of code would run in classic roguelike fashion. C2 is more than able to make a roguelike.

  • I have seen oddity with the keyboard like you're talking about occasionally with Chrome in both HTML5 and flash games. I can make it happen in the demo as well, but can't reproduce it in FF or IE. Seems more like a keyboard hook issue in Chrome than anything else.

  • To be clear, you're talking about the link to the demo for the project, or are you talking about you went through the steps to create the demo and you're seeing this performance when you run your project?

  • I have it happen to me too: Can save and close projects, but will not exit the program. Seems to happen when I open another project when I'm working on a project. i.e. opening an example project. This opens a second instance of C2 that loses ok. After that instance is closed, I can't close the 1st one.
