  • Hello, can you help me please ?

I want to set these 2 objects

    <img src="http://repstyleart.com/ask_froum_construct/piece_collsion.png" border="0" />

    with these properties :

    • can move by drag and drop
    • can't fall (stay at the place it is)
    • can't overlap the other object
    • can't push the other object

I tried with the physics behavior but when i set the 2 objects to immovable they overlap. And if i set one immovable:yes and the other immovable:no, the immovable:no fall and the immovable:yes stay at his place and the 2 collide and don't overlap.

  • Hello, i have a big issue :

When i run my game, the game view in the browser is displayed at a bigger zoom than the 100% size i can see in the editor.

    Link to .capx file

    dropbox.com/s/kmmr00cnyz2ek2n/MLR.capx

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open Construct 2

    2. Run

    Observed result:

    Game view is zoomed x2

    Expected result:

No zoom on executed game view. I want to see only the game view to 100%, not higher not lower.

    Browsers affected:

Chrome: Don't know (C2 don't validate the changing of browser, if i set Chrome as my browser for run, C2 run in Firefox anyway. I don't know why).

    Firefox: yes

    Internet Explorer: Don't know

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 7

    Construct 2 version:

    Free Edition : r158.2

  • Ok i will see, thanks for all these ansmers.

  • Thanks for quick answers.

    :

Ok but i don't know anything about Ajax, i have only basic knowlegde in general programming.

Then is it possible to :

    • create a generic game
    • allow player to customize that generic game with by exemple hero renamed
    • the new customized version will returns a keycode to memorize all parameters and modifications
    • that keycode can be entered in the generic game to generate the corresponding game

    ?

This won't requiere any space storage to memorize all the game and the games could be registered on a website directory.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Hi everyone and happy new year !

    I'm totally new here ^^

Im' going to buy Construct2 but i need to know if something is possible before buying it.

I'm looking for the possiblity of creating a standalone game that can be modified by the player, saved in the new version created by the player and shared by the player in a new renamed version.

    Is it possible ?

And other point, is it possible to make with Construct2 an input field for text that can be used to name the hero of the game for exemple (like in rpgs) ?

    I hope it's possible !
