  • Bust your sprite into 3 or more images so they are convex. 1-floor 2-wall 3-ceiling.

  • Just drag and drop your image file on Construct 2, and add the behavior "Solid". It should automatically make a collision poly for you.

    Use the PNG file format when saving from your image editor and it will save the transparent "Alpha mask" for you so there are invisible parts.

    Try to keep your sprites "Convex" rather than concave. This will make sure you dont get any errors from the physics engine.

  • Just got both the Steam and The full version from your site lucid

    Will there ever be an option to automatically export both files needed for construct 2? Saving everything twice is sort of a pain when I am troubleshooting animations. It would be very nice if it popped out both files in one swift action.

    Other than the minor annoyance of doing the same thing twice, I really am enjoying the Pro version. I just noticed you support Unity as well as some other engines so I am very happy with my purchase!.

  • How do we get the sounds to play? I have it running great in Spriter, but when i port it over there are no sounds.

    Sounds import into C2 just fine, but they do not play on que.

    I must agree with this for the windows version. They really let it go in the last few updates. Only really worth it if you use Linux.

    I have been using Inkscape + blender lately.

    Is there anything we need to know about amazon app publishing?

    From what I see after registering is that I just have to upload my game in the exported "amazon" format.

    Are there any tips or pitfalls we should know about? I do not have a Amazon product to test on.

  • Try panning the camera in whole numbers. Use int() if it is possible. Sometimes this really makes a big difference in movement of anything.

    Seems like it calculates X=5 faster than X=5.342342535423436234562346235624564562456456245634563453455464547567.
