  • Ah - it was a browser issue! Chrome was having issues but it looks like Firefox works. The gamepad-tester site was very helpful. Thanks for the response!

  • I've gone through a range of game controllers for my Mac (Switch Pro bluetooth controller, Xbox 360 USB w/ USB-c converter, Xbox 360 USB-c direct) and none of them are detected by Construct 3.

    Does anyone use a Mac and have a solution for Construct 3 recognizing a gamepad properly (plugin or add-on)? And/Or a controller that would be supported?

    I just bought and downloaded The 'Epic Platformer' Template.

    I have installed all the addons but when I try to open the template directly from my local file, I get an error: "Failed to open project. Check it is a valid Construct 3 single-file (.c3p) project."

    When I try to open the template via my cloud, I get an error:

    "cannot change property 'activated' from '<boolean>' to '<string>'."

    Please, let me know how I can fix this issue.
