• Try Xrecode II, fast and easy drag and drop conversions... I always use that for C2

• They changed the urls a while ago...

I had to replace all the capx from my drive I linked to the forum at the time :p

Anyway, the new address is

https://drive.google.com/uc?id=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Where XXX is again that code you get for your file links like

docs.google.com/file/d/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/edit

You just need the FILE id instead of the FOLDER as it used to be

• Okay I posted a reply on the clay.io thread

You may want to post there instead if you decide to stick with clay.io

There's no pagination in my example though, but I guess it's doable as long as you can do it in html

It's a simplified version from what I have in my project, because inline css in quite unreadable at some point!

But there was other things, like links or webfonts

Btw someone posted a tutorial here too for custom leaderboards and just basic text fields

• Here is some custom leaderboard example with tabs for amkp (via) using the DIV plugin

<img src="http://i.imgur.com/GIhwr9s.png" border="0">

<font size="1">(it uses my leaderboard ID by default and you'll see some numbers before the name - I'm using those as links in the actual project)</font>

austin I never needed to use the "last 24h" filter before, but I noticed that when "fetch leaderboard object" returns no results for a time frame, and you try to call "clayio.LeaderboardName(0)" there's a console error that pops up, can you have a look?

(I tried the above capx with your test account "testfff" ID16, which had to recent entry)

• Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
• I played it yesterday on the arcade and I would tend to agree with what you summed up above

The level design is gorgeous but the gameplay doesn't really fit

I don't have the answer for all that but one possible way would be to focus less on gameplay, and make some kind of semi-interactive experience like Passage

• Well they offer a pre-made leaderboard display as a "basic configuration"

Then it's you job to arrange the results the way you like...they can't please everyone otherwise

And with the "fetch leaderboard object" you can do all of that customization already

For example here and here I'm injecting the results from the API into some custom html with Pode's div plugin

• There was an idea on another thread to have comboboxes for several kind of objects where possible

Pick from the dropdown list, or stick with the possibility dynamic expressions... best of the two worlds

• Scoreoid guys are supposed to be making a plugin for a while... I dunno why they never get it done

But IMO clay.io has more interesting options than scoreoid (beside their use of websockets that are completely overkill and fail with some players)

What do you mean with "no basic options like filters by select"?

• Anyone tried some fast-rate autosave already?

I already have an autosave system running every 3s using "for each"

Now maybe this new feature is optimized to save more things and faster

• Okay, thanks for the details

• Steps to reproduce:

1. minify script

Observed result:

253kb

Expected result:

210kb

Operating system & service pack:

win xp sp3

Construct 2 version:

r124

Not really a bug, but I just upgraded to the last version, and I had to make changes to three projects, they all gained roughly 15% in file size

I haven't worked in C2 for a while (nor have the time for further tests these days), so this may not have been introduced in the very last version...I noticed r123 had an updated Google Closure Compiler, which may be worse than the previous version?

• Hey nice graphics on your demo

I think rexrainbow make a plugin to automate stuff in time, try to look for "scenario" plugin

About the scroll thing, you could scroll to a dumb object pinned (or not) to your character
