  • I made the control settings for a character in an event sheet with all the animations etc.

    Now these are tied to the specific object "Character1". But I want to use this exact copy for Character2 as well.

    Instead of recreating and duplicating all of this, is there a way I can use the same sheet for both players?

    I want them to select a character on the character select screen, then have the same movement controls and only the sprite will change.

    I kinda want a movement sheet only that determines how things work. But not tied to an actual sprite or player.

    Seems like duplicate work otherwise.

  • That makes my character look up and down and hes being rotated. I just want him to look left and right.

    If the mouse is on left side he should be mirrored and right side normal.

    If you played Starbound, the same way.

  • I have a character that uses the template for WASD movement. So he moves right/left etc. But I want him to always look in the direction where the mouse is (left or right) on a platform game.

    So if I press A key to move left and have mouse cursor on the right side he should go backwards.

    Right now he faces the way you press the keyboard.

    How do I do this?

  • Is there a way to update a text box with the contents of a variable when the variable changes? Not just on a specific click, but in every way the variable can change?
