  • (This), actually means the number of the layer your getting the coordinate off...

  • Well, Your right, but same applies to the syntax, I guess...

  • It would be ideal to be able to set a custom icon for Families...

But, until then and with the recent colour, syntax highlighting, I thought families could do with the same treatment...

At the moment events using Families all look the same, A screen full of "Teal invaders" can be confusing...

The top half of the pic is how it looks now, below is colour coded, and easy to reference them on the right...

I often have to double click a Family, in the event sheet, to know which Family it is...

  • Even if the rubbish was cleaned up, Tomorrow, unless some type of system is in place to sift out the future junk, it will soon be back to where it is now.

The ideas above are sound enough, but the current system would work better with more people rating and commenting on games, at the moment, unrated and poor rated games, slide down the ladder...

Problem is, it requires forum members participation in rating and commenting on the games...

And that's the crux, as the majority are only here to sort out Their "How can I", once sorted They are off...

  • I agree with Kyatric, C2 has only bloomed in the last six months, so there has simply not been time for a large complicated game to be developed and released, however a successful game, irrespective of "size" would fly the C2 flag just as well, and we don't have that yet either..."Quantity, has a quality of it's own"...

I guess much of this is due to C2 being aimed at "beginners" who have grand ideas but little skill and knowledge of fundamental, game structure to bring them to fruition.

I'm vouching for Loot pursuit to be the "Big hitter" as it's been in development for a few years, on Classic, so basically, has a head start...

  • Gamer I feel your pain...there's a lot of "games" on there, need flushing down a binary toilet...

  • I don't really see a problem here, all objects are essentially the same, just graphical blobs with numbers attached, colliding or moving these blobs changes values of it, or other blobs...

C2 does the picking for you...

    Seems very elegant to me... <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • This thread dealt with a similar issue, you should be able to adapt it to your needs...

  • I don't 100% know, what you are trying to do...

lower the dt calculation, Example change 1.0*dt to 0.01*dt and adjust your "countdown" numbers accordingly, as this could skipping over your 1,2,3,4...

  • It's already totally possible, as You said, I would not consider using a variable a "workaround"...

  • Putting My hand up, for the Beta testing, if there's a slot free?...

  • If it ain't Nintendo, it ain't Mario...
