well there seem to be some issues with building app bundle/apk
first attempt I got stuck on "adding files" forever
then on second it built but app got frozen on splash screen...
many many minutes just to simple minify...
thats true
cant open any example
it gives me the error "Failed to download project. Check if your internet connection is working"
Good job.
It would be cool to see how many Piggies in action, as bullets, platforms and/or physics it could handle.
glad to see my suggestion to fix spawn/pin object correctly on created is in here
Hi! Thanks a lot for this tutorial and for giving us the example projects and folders! This is really what users want!
Could you please explain how could I improve/edit the design of the leaderboard tables? What would be the method? I there a way I can create the design on a software like Dreamweaver and have this php/mysql leaderboard implemented? Ou maybe even edit the design as a page/post on Wordpress?
Lastly, would you be wiling to help me doing this for a work project of mine? Off course I'll be glad to pay something.
All the best,
Once again, if I use advanced minify, the android app will show the splash screen, then right after will be stuck on the loading bar, and that's it. If I don't minify at all, app runs ok. I tried on a mobile phone and a tablet.
The loading bar is always either full or empty, no signs of "progress".
Sorry to be a pain... If I use advanced minify script, the app freezes on the loading bar... If simple minify, takes longer to load, and if I don't minify at all, things seem to run ok (but I still get a black screen for a couple of seconds between loading and first layout. I dont think this is reportable by the standard protocol... Maybe I could record a video... Cause you wont be able to reproduce, just like that "editor frozen on chrome" bug. So maybe wait to see if someone get that issue.
I fixed the appearance of the storyboard loader, my mistake. Not used to it and maybe not necessary for me. If I could have the storyboard layout with a functioning loading bar, that would be nicer.
Well it will be nice to have the next stable released when it's ready. Cheers.
The loading time is not affected, the problem is when using advanced minify, the app doesn't pass the loading bar. The loading bar doesnt help the user to know if its loading or not, its always either empty or full... The time to complete installing the apk is what I noticed took much longer. I will try to export not using any minify at all.
What about the story board splash? Cant I set up a full size image? I did that but then the image is downsized and what is mostly shown is the BG color we can choose.
Also, I still get a blank screen between loading bar and first layout... And the time stuck there increased.
If I use advanced minify, the android app takes much longer time for the app to finish installing... I also freezes on the loading bar loader...
I also don't understand the "storyboard splash", do I really need to use it? Doesn't matter the size of the image I choose, there's always a lot of "color background" behind it... Cant I use a "full screen-sized" image? I used to have the loading bar and then go to the first layout... Now (using simple minify) it shows the storyboard splash, loading bar (which is always either empty or full bar, without any hint of actually loading), then a BLANK BLACK SCREEN for 4 to 5 seconds, and the loading layout I created... Too much stuff...
I just want to use this release to increase the API level, as now required by Play Store... But I cant release this... Please hurry the stable version?
I had this issue when having a Sprite to Spawn Another object that wasnt yet created anywhere in the project. It was working before and stopped spawning on r202. I added those 2 sprites to my sprite sheet and than the action worked.
dont you want to publish this on google play store?
I'd like to buy it and turn it into a even greater game :)
maybe if I make some money with adds...
I thought you said it wasnt "mobile friendly"
play.google.com/store/apps/details
I think the fish we control should get bigger every time it eats a smaller one, so you will be able to eat those bigger fishes and win the game, that would be really cool to play on mobile
You are selling this project right? I wish I could see the .capx...
Really liked the concept, I would play this on my phone
