hello again rexrainbow - 2 questions for you.

1) not sure if this is a bug or not. When using the action "set instance at position" it will correctly offset the tile layer, but the object layer will not get offset. it remains at 0,0. is there something else i need to do to make the object layer line up with the tiles like in the tiled editor

2) is it possible to have multiple tmx map files all referencing the same .tsx tileset to reuse tiles between maps? is there an option in tiled, or a way to import .tsx files into c2 to resue the tilesets between maps?

rexrainbow - i figured out that i needed to find/replace all " with "" for it to work in C2 properly.
my next question (which i also sent to you in discord) is...

Is it possible to use tile custom properties, when using the TMX import with the tilemap ? I saw how you used properties in your other json examples where you are generating lots of tiles, buti'm trying to avoid that by using the tilemap method.

Can i do something like "if tile property = "rock" -> create rock sprite at tile.x, tile.y?

rexrainbow - The exported json and xml data from tiled seems to come out different then your example files, which version of tiled did you use when you were making this plugin?

I suppose this just havent added that functionality yet, but here's a temporary alternative solution for you.

If you install the free chrome extension "Pushbullet" on your main machine and all of your devices

You can then easily send links/message/files etc from your main computer to all devices with one click.

By default it will open a browser link you send automatically, so if you simply paste the remote preview link to your pushbullet extension, it will auto open on all devices linked to your account.

mekonbekon - Fenix just runs off your own computer, so there's no cost, its like 1 or 2 clicks to deploy. There's lots of different options out there. We all have our favorites.
I've used digitalocean's droplets in the past for deploying affordable servers online.

its $5 a month for their lowers tier cloud computer .

you get a dedicated server with 20GB drive space and 1TB of transfer and its super easy to scale up if you need to down the road.

Ashley - I'm getting the following error while opening the C3 editor, i dont know if this is related to what Notiongames is experiencing...
Storage Error:

Unable to write to storage. this available quota may be full. Try freeing up storage space on your device.

Windows 10 computer (happens on both my laptop and desktop machine).

Occurs when first opening the editor. not even loading a project etc.

I have tons of free hard drive space available and plenty of desktop memory available. so perhaps its a setting somewhere in chrome?

Edit: In the "About" page of the C3 editor it says "Local Storage" Approximately 26 mb storage used of 97 mb quota (26.6%) Storage Status Unavailable

lucid - behaviors were added recently, but drawing related stuff is still not implemented yet. (forum post here: behaviors-now-supported-in-sdk_t191739)

If i remember reading correctly somewhere, I believe there's a plan to keep a better repository within addon manager for C3 down the road, integrated directly in it.

R0J0hound - its getting closer. but when the click is initated the square wiggles all around till it settles. is there a way i can prevent that?

Blackhornets plugin converter works really well. I've converted a few C2 plugins so far. (the SDK currently does not support Drawing type plugins yet, but behaviors were recently added)
