• Can you post a screenshot of the build settings that you have setup in Intel XDK for iOS?

• Yay. Another eBook writer. Glad I'm not the only one trying to keep the eBook scene alive. I will buy that eBook later this week, because I've always wanted to go back to Cocoon, but only when the time was right. CocoonJS at the time was great with performance, but the plugin support and tech support was horrible. Ludei at the time was horrible with replying back to user issues. I hope they improved on that.

I've read about CocoonIO and it has interest me greatly, but just never found the time to work with it.

• Good luck with your course, because not many people like Windows 10.

• You use Raspberry Pi? I sure as hell don't lol.. I wouldn't buy one of those things if my life depended on it.

Being that I've tested these two products. Both tablets that I've listed ran Construct 2 perfectly, so it doesn't hurt to take someone's word of review on a product.

Both Space Blaster and Ghost Demo ran at 60fps running on Windows 10 using Microsoft Edge on the Nextbook Flex tablet.

Walmart has a 15 day refund policy for tablets if you don't like it, so it doesn't hurt to buy and try it out and return it later if it's not your thing.

• How much does it cost?

I brought this one from Walmart before, but I gave it to my cousin because he needed something for school. It was surprisingly fast for a Quad Core Atom and the screen was nice size. 10 inch. So this tablet was like the Surface alternative if you can't afford one of those like me . The one that I had lightup keyboard, but I didn't like the keys on the keyboard. It was well too small for my hands. It's only $150. It originally had Windows 8.1 on it, but I hated that operating system and had no choice but to use the free upgrade to Windows 10. The version I had a decent storage size on it too. 64 gigs of Flash Store and 2 Gigs of Ram. It ran Construct 2 program and games with no problem. I tested many demos and some of my games on it. The Intel atom uses Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, so that's why it could run decent games at decent FPS.

If you want something cheaper, then you can get this here.

Digiland are known for selling cheap Windows tablets. $70 is a good deal, just the screen was too small for my liking when I had this tablet for a short while last year. It ran all Windows programs and a full version of Windows 8.1 and I purchased a Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse and it worked perfectly on it.

• No hating here, like I said it's all game.

The quality of a lot of the content in the shops is the main thing that I find annoying.

I mean you should take some pride in something, even if it is just a reskin.

I do take pride in my work. I've created a few Construct 2 games from scratch with decent quality and felt much pride and joy when I actually made a game from start to finish. That's not an easy feat, especially when you get lazy and say that I will finish it next week only to work on it 3 months later. Hell, I posted a screenshot of a game several weeks back that I'm currently working on now from scratch.

This is a project that's gonna take awhile for me to finish, because I really want to study the C2 Multiplayer plugin and utilize it well in this game. It's limited as hell though.. However, if it works well, I can turn it into a Game Template to sell on the Scirra Store.

• Most Windows tablets only run on arm architecture, which means it won't run C2.

Then there's the whole mouse thing....

Wrong..

The earlier gen Surface (non Pro) tablet used an ARM processor which is why it was running Windows RT and not a full PC version of Windows 8.1/10 at the time. Windows RT isn't supported anymore for the simple fact, you couldn't run x86 programs and only run programs/apps from the Windows Store. Nobody didn't like that shit.

Most cheap Windows tablets nowadays uses Intel Atom processors.. Which is x86.. I've ran Construct 2 on a cheap Windows tablet that I brought from Best Buy before, so I know what I'm talking about. The only problem was the mouse, but you can just hook up a Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse... So no problems...

Current gen Surface PROs now uses Intel i3,i5,i7

• I wouldn't worry about it too much since Intel XDK uses an emulator for testing and it's not accurate.

If the links work on a real mobile device, then you should be good.

• Waltuo yes I know it would be damn cool if C3 would come also in that way.

I own the surface pro 3, and the surface book, but none of them fit in my pocket. I meant it as in an app version, a mobile as in phone, you know, pocket. But your small tablet comment is not a bad idea

I just couldn't imagine trying to use the events system on my cell phone. That would be annoying for me... just saying.

• Lol, I just love all the haters..

At the end of the day, it's a business. I've mentioned this many times on the forums. You have people here complaining why their not making any revenue from their apps and I tell them you need a funding to promote that game. You can have the best designed game in the world, but if no advertising is being done then you might as well not waste your time. App reskinning is just another way to monetize. Only reason why it's faster to make money flipping because you have Flippa which is one of the biggest websites to sell apps, websites and domain names. Big companies are doing the same shit. Look at King.. Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga, Farm Heroes Saga, Pet Rescue Saga. It's basically the same damn source code with different graphics and how much they're making from it is crazy, but they have the funding to advertise these games unlike a regular indie.

• Lol, if you want a mobile Construct 2.

Buy a Surface or a cheap Windows tablet and install Construct 2 there...

• Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
• Are you serious?

Apparently so, if copies been sold already..
