  • Yes, it's possible.

For a client, I made a "catalog app". That app showed a grid of button, each one for a different brand of optics. When clicking on the brand, an iframe open and show the website of that brand in it. You can off course close that iframe and go to another brand, etc...

Very nice trick, Pode. I think it's just the... tip of the iceberg.

    Thanks

  • Uhmmmm.

From manual: The following features are not supported in directCanvas, but should be supported when using the phone browser.

    • The form control plugins Textbox and Button are not supported.
    • The AJAX object is not supported. [...]

    "should be supported..."

So I think that a workaround can be found. If apps are "slow" (low cpu usage) such as certain commercial ones, C2 will let me work once for iphone and android and... so on.

Ok, I have to start in order to test....

  • Excuse my poor english.

Has someone ever considered the possibilities of non-ludic uses of C2? Thanks to SDK capability, AJAX, a php-mysql server side platform, I think it's possible to create simple (and less simple) apps for smartphone, iphone & C. limited only by... fantasy

I'm working around this and after tests, obviously, I'll buy a basic C2 license: just to start, I hope ;)

  • Uhmmmmm..., I'm new on creator2, I'm working with it from few hours, but the ONLY problem I've found (on a simple game-mysql test) WAS this.

    Thanks

  • FIXED IT!!!

Upon further review I found that I had to place the following into my php file....

    "header('Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *');"

Sorry... I'm used to working with flash. A lot of this is new for me.

    Thanks! :D

I'm sorry, I don't know how to delete this quote... I want just to thank You, agout1014, bye!
