I think i got the controls worked out this way :)

I cant seem to get the animation to stop playing when the character is not moving.

Ummm

Basically when i press leftcontrol everything almost works fine.

Rightcontrol doesnt move at all it just stutters and sticks

Also when i press leftcontrol a couple times really fast my animation just stops and he slides across the floor.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "all these (other) things", but I guess you're referring to the game server setup. If that's the case, the answer to your question is no. Unlike single player games, the server is an essential component of a multiplayer game and its setup can't be avoided.

Well i was more talking cant the files be downloaded in the background without having the end user/customer having to set up and configure themselves. Like a nice little package.

Im kinda new around here i was more of a lurker for a while.. Here goes...

Okay so first off multiplayer in c2 would be amazing! But it seems that there is a lot of work even installing all these things just to play on local. Would there be a way that we could package it all together so there is no need to download all these other things? (In the future if not already possible)

Second if C2 plans on allowing .exe there may be a way to use like hamachi servers or something similar? Or maybe hamachi style p2p networks are already possible?
