  • All of my games have been delisted from GooglePlay due to an ad violation. I use ads via AdMob, the official scirra plugin. I had selected that my game was proper from 9 years and above in GooglePlay Console. (Simple platform game, no violence or anything). I got an email that they delisted my game since it had shown ads for dating-apps (they attached printscreens)..

    If you allow any age group under 18 in google Play console you must show ads that are allowed for minors. This important setting is not part of the official AdMob plugin? (Or have I missed it?) It exists in Chadoris plugin, but I do not wish to change all events for all of my apps at the moment.

    If your app is targeted towards everyone, including children and families, you’ll need to include code that calls the tagForChildDirectedTreatment()method for ad requests served to children and also specify the maximum ad content rating.

  • when you have a test version you will have a test url, so you can download the test version to your phone, via google play.

    You can use the internal test channel for your testing.

    when you open the app, if google play games works fine, you will se it popping up on the app start, regardless of your code. (Your code will not work btw)

    A general tip: Try to understand how the events actually works, display things, hide them, make them visible, sub events, variables etc etc before you try to inlcude stuff like google play games! :)

  • I uploaded a game to google Play yesterday, with C2 runtime. 4 permissions required. Today I only changed the runtime to C3 (for performance reasons). Nothing else changed. When I now uploaded the game these two persmissions were added

    android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

    android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

    So there are different permissions for the different runtimes, even if I use the same plugins. (Now I change back to C2 runtime, since it is not popular to request permissions to the storage.)

    Also one more additional question, with both C2 and C3 runtime the permissions for wake lock is requested

    android.permission.WAKE_LOCK

    Why is that, do you have that feature in any of your plugins? Where is it, I have never found it..

    I am only using official Scirra plugins btw in the project. nothing special

  • you need to set up the app in google play console (both in All apps, and in Play services!). You must also link the play service to the actual app.

    Regarding your code, I have no idea what you really try to achieve there? It makes no sense to me..

    Have you read the manual?

    (I set it up with a few games last week, it is a few things to do in the plugin and to set up in the console. But it is pretty straight forward I think)

    If you create games that needs some kind of user token/account. (To use and see leaderboards, multiplayer, keep data over different devices etc, can be many reasons.

    Which login do you prefer (both prefer to use development wise, but also when you personally play a game you find on a mobile store.

    Facebook, Google Play Games, you own username/passwork-system, etc.. Is there any place on the net to see the "penetration" of the different apps/logins.

    How many (relative wise) android users that actually have Facebook or GooglePlayGames installed

    I am looking for a plugin for Local Notifications. Do anyone have a working one for C3? (C2 and C3 runtime)

    I found this cordova plugin that I guess would be the perfect one to use, if anyone would be able to create one (I'm not :(

  • in the console you can tick which networks you want to use in AdMob. but yes, you will not use any other sdk, averything will be via admob.

  • I don't know what you refer to right no. :)

    I just know that if you use the standard Admob Plugin in C3, you can select to get ads also from Facebook network in the Google admob console when you create your stuff there.

    But that was just a tip.

    I know that is not the standard FAN setup. I do not think there is any FAN plugin to use.. not even paid plugins.

    You think you get higher cpm from Facebook than Google?

  • You can select and get Facebook ads, via the Google Admob system. But it is always mandatory to also use Google ads of course..

    But I do not think it exists any plugin for Facebook ad system directly for C3

  • No, that is not odd, that is the whole point of the image point.. :)

  • it is already a bug filed.

    But many of us cannot even open the editor, at all.

    So no, I hope it is not supposed to have "issues like those" even in the betas :)
