  • I actually use both for the random reason that I need to be logged into two gmail accounts at the same time, haha.

    However, I tend to find myself using Chrome for most things for the reasons you mentioned, it just seems to be quicker and more reliable than FireFox.

  • Have a look at this tutorial I wrote:

  • I've found some good artists on oDesk, ranging from $2/hr - $30/hr.

  • Hey DravenX,

    Congrats on the purchase, good luck with your creations!

  • 20 Year old Web Developer from Australia. I've decided to take my skill set (Web Development) and merge it with my passion (Game Development). I'm currently building a HTML5 arcade system that will give publishers another revenue stream from their games. I look forward to working with all of the great developers here at Scirra.

  • I'm afraid I also ran into these issues and was forced to abandon the project, or at least suspend development on it. After hours of searching, I found no solution to this issue.

    Fingers crossed someone can shed some light on this topic.

  • Hello!

    I wanted to run a question by the Construct community to get your opinion on a project my company is working on.

    For the past few months I have been developing a custom arcade site centered around HTML5 games. I've been involved in the arcade scene for a few years now and know that it takes something original to succeed in this business.

    The system I have been developing has been built to serve a few purposes:

    1) A platform to publish the highest quality HTML5 games.

    2) Provide a fair revenue share model for developers.

    3) Build a strong community between the developers and the players.

    I'm a web developer by trade, but game development is my passion. Part of the reason behind me pushing for this project is so I can provide a decent way for publishers to make money from their HTML5 games.

    I know a lot of you will want to know details of the revenue share system, however, at this stage, nothing is finalized by management so I am unable to expand on this point. Sorry!

    Here is the proposal to game developers:

    We are seeking developers who have completed a HTML5 game and are interested in having it published on our site. As the site is new and just being launched, we are looking for game 'donations' (I guess that's what you'd call it?). In the early stages of the site, there will be no revenue share model. Once the site reaches a certain level of visitors per day, the revenue share model will be introduced.

    "Why should I submit my game now when there's no revenue share?"

    Developers who submit games before the site launch will be eligible for the extended revenue share percentage. As I said, nothing is finalized, so I am unable to supply numbers.

    So, the question is, are any of you interested in donating your HTML5 games for the launch of this new site?

    I'm happy to field any questions.

    Thanks!

    Ryan

  • Uhhg, forgive me again. Deeper searching leads me here:

  • Hey guys,

    I'm working on some AI and was wondering what the best way to check for a clear path is?

    For example:

    IF (no solid objects between Player and Enemy) {

    set Enemy.Angle = Player.X, Player.Y;

    } ELSE {

    set Enemy.Angle = Random(0, 360);

    }

    Excuse my pseudo PHP syntax, it's just easier to explain that way xD

    Thanks!

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Ahh, I see both the option to mentioned and what I was actually after (Objects Panel) allow sub folders in the pro version.

    Question answered, thanks!

  • Hello,

    Not sure if this has been suggested before, I did a quick search and didn't see anything.

    Are there any plans to introduce folders in the objects panel? It would be useful for things like different bullet types, monsters, tiles etc.

    Thanks!

    Ryan
