  • Hi Guys! I'm being through a tough decision here I want to make a game called "Candy Factory" and This is the first time I make a game with isometric art and a 1280, 720 px layout, so I was hesitant to continue and progress this game. I only made the loading screen (without loading bar since I didn't finished it). The game is about owning a candy. factory & to sell candy you must have resources so you must plant cocoa trees, strawberries, sugar canes, and wheat., get milk & eggs for some types of candy then you can sell them after manufacture them. You can also upgrade your machines for higher & faster performance, for example upgrade windmill to make dough faster .

    That is the idea & that is the first view: I don't want to take a risk of having a really bad game so please guide me to the right choice "either to to choose it or lose it!" eli0s that is a big layout or not for this game??

  • First is What is JSON? and how to use it? I searched all over the forums but nothing was found! I think that JSON is maybe to store data online & load them to all people who uses a game ( like a global highscore for example) am I right??

  • I don't think that using stupid has a big effect on peoples choice. The title is absolutely legit, angry birds, tiny wings, stupid chicken...

    It did affected few of them, plus you're right, Stupid Zombies is now popular even with the word "Stupid"

  • Well I l learned lately how to make an isometric art in Adobe Illustartor by this tutorial: http://www.monofactor.com/201/3d-isometric-vector-icon-tutorial/ I made this house using the tutorila but what I noticed when you add 3d effect the color go darker, don't know why. For example the roof is made of 3 parts : ( left to right) : Isometric Left Triangle, Normal Upsidedown Triangle, and Isometric right triangle. you notice that the middle triangle with no 3d effect keeps the bright color while the others are darker due to 3d effect. Can this problem be solved? If anyone is a good graphic designer please guide me how!
