  • But when I run the preview of the example capx, it doesn't connect.

  • Is it supposed to stay stuck like this?

And now the multiplayer in the example isn't working...

  • I see.....What if..IT IS?!?! DUN DUN DUN!

  • Well, tell that to David. He did it! I dunno how.... but he did!

  • Hi guys, I started on a quest to try to duplicate this game. I searched up the forums and found a 3d First Person Shooter like game thing made by David (though i cant seem to find the demo), And that was some time ago. Not that Construct is updated I was wondering if it is possible to make a First Person game so I can somehow duplicate that game (with some...modifications) in Construct. I tried to make it in Unity, but that is not going well >.<!

  • Anyone?

  • How do I make it so the sprite YetPlayer follows MachoMoosePlayer and fights enemies, and when you switch characters, the other way around?

    Here is the CAPX.

  • Thanks. Its apparently working. So, how would I go about setting this up on my own game? Is there anything that I need to know first? Sorry, I stink when it comes to this stuff :S

I get that error now. I downloaded both Socket.io and Node! It's weird!

  • Aw man! Well, thanks for telling me!

  • Try Construct 3

  • Help! I get this error:

    Script:

    C:\Users\Matthew\Downloads\socket-io-mod\example_server.js

    Line: 5

    Char: 1

    Error: Object Expected

    Code: 800A138F

  • Is it possible to create a 2-4 player mode using this method, on this game? Also, is I use the webcam obj, will it record sound too so the other players can hear? Or will it not work?
