In this video, I explain as I used the Bullet behavior in my game Eleazar.

Play as Eleazar, one of the Three Great Fighters of King David. You must to protect Israel and its plantations from the philistians' attack by 5 minutes.

Left click move Eleazar in scenario, right click Eleazar attacks with his sword and middle click Eleazar shoot bolts with his crossbow (limited ammo).

Collect meat to some recovery of Eleazar life, shield to some restoration of Eleazar shield and bolts to add more ammo to Eleazar's crossbow.

In this video, it is teached how to use the Bullet behavior to simulate Phsyics (good for overview games).

In Scirra Arcade I uploaded a example game that uses the concept, and it is possible download a .CAPX file.

  • Thanks, devMidgard! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Thanks for your review, TPorter64.

I agree that sometimes the movement of the marbles is weird, because I used the Bullet plug-in to calculate movement. Physics plug-in is good, but it is better to sideview games. I think the Bullet plug-in is best to simulate physics in overview games.

I agree too that sometimes the CPU does not do a smart move. I am trying to fix this problem. Well, it is my first game in Construct 2! <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    I will try too give a better feedback in-game to avoid any confusion. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Thanks RandomHero! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Oh, thanks to comment, zsangerous. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

You, the blue marbles, may to try remove the green marbles (CPU) inside square. Avoid remove your own marbles (blue). If you remove all green marbles, you win.

    Simple huh? I hope you have understood, friend. <img src="smileys/smiley14.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

It is my first game made with Construct 2.

Try to remove all opponent's marbles inside square.

You play with blue marbles, CPU plays with green marbles.

    Enjoy and good luck! <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • Hello everybody. I am Denis, brazilian, 30 years old. At 18, I made my first (and only) game in RPG Maker 95. I tried to make other games with RPG Maker 2000/2003, but for various personal reasons I stopped programming.

Now, in adulthood, and with the support of my wife, I decided to return to my "childhood dream". I am studying at a university that includes game creation class, and recently I discovered Scirra Construct 2, a simple but powerful game maker.

My wish is to work as game designer.
