  • Is your ios mobile device using firefox or Chrome ? -> no only safari ... so your event putting your game in real fullscreen mode can't never work ... not working on a pc using chrome or firefox because of your "Is on mobile device" test .... and not working on ios because safari don't support this "Browser request fullscreen" feature.

    Your screen/layout size is good for a Iphone 3 ... Ipad use bigger screen or perhaps you are speaking about Ipod touch and not Ipad ?, i will try to do some tests on iphone 4, sorry i have only that ;-p

    Ok i think you are speaking about Ipod Touch ;-p ... the problem is that html5 games use safari ... on the only way to have some good display without too many "bars" is to put your game in your "homescreen" and then launch your game directly touching the new game icon and not launching it using safari.

    Thanks for the heads up, i didn't know safari doesn't support full screen. In fact i didn't know IOS has a Firefox and Chrome app. No i wasn't talking about IPod Touch, just the IPad. I just wanted my game to go full screen on mobile browsers only, so no full screen on desktop is the correct behavior for desktop browsers.

  • This game is not "fullscreen" on a desktop pc too and your C2 project have "fullscreen in browser" property set to "Off" ... so perhaps put your C2 project with the property "Fullscreen in browser" to "scale" will help you to have "fullscreen" on ios safari ;-p

    I don't look if you try to use some special "browser" fullscreen code in C2 but this code can only work using Firefox and Chrome.

    I tried what you suggested to no avail. The link to the updated demo remains the same. Here is an updated link to the .capx file. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  • I am trying to make my game go full screen when played on a mobile browser. However for some reason why i play it on an iPad Touch it doesn't go full screen. A demo of the game can be found here. The latest .capx file is available for download here for reference. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

  • Add a condition 'System -> Compare two values' and input 'Mouse.X > WindowWidth/2'.

    Quick example: LeftRightScreen.capx (r95)

    Was the color sprite plugin the one used in the demo? I can't seem to find any mention of it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  • I have added the mouse object to my game. I would like to know if i can obtain the click's x position in a condition somehow. I have tried all the screens to no avail. I want to perform some action if the user clicks to the left side of the screen and another if he clicks to the right. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  • 1) i don't know but the game looks easy i would like every min they spawn 3x enemy what they are now! also if i collide with 3 i die or score lower every hit and so on...

    2) i wish you remove the green area i didn't see its good idea put them black or white would be better ^^

    3) i liked the time idea but sometimes it getting bigger sometimes smaller confuse! i tough when time come 0 there will be many cars coming to me with boss but nathing happen ^^

    1) It's supposed to get faster as you go, but that really hasn't been fully implemented yet. Also for each time you dodge the computer you get (amount of times dodged) in points. So if you start at 0:

    Times Dodged     Score

    1                  1

    2                  3

    3                  6

    4                  10

    5                  15

    6                  21

    7                  28

    8                  36

    9                  45

    10                 55

    If you crash the counter gets reset to 0 and you start over at 1 the next time you dodge the computer.

    2) I may add trees to give the illusion of speed in the near future.

    3) Everytime 5 times you pass the computer you get additional time. Also like i said in point 1 the game is supposed to get faster at this point. Right now you get 4 additional seconds of fuel, and the computer goes 1 pixel faster. I will increase the starting fuel, fuel increase and computers speed increase next release.

  • Just wanted to let you know the page for the Kongregate plugin is empty despite the manual being

    Be sure to click it again and read it.

    It's now 100% complete.

    Great news: The plugins references are now complete !

    Question:

    Scirra's policy now is to wait for the next stable release before putting entries in the manual for features introduced in beta releases.

    I believe the kongregate plugin has be around since Release 77 so it's been in the stable release for some time now. Can you please tell me when the manual entry will be availiable? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
