hmm I inserted the text object and under properties, text, I added your line and it did not work. I tried adding the text under event sheet but no clue how to... Is there a way you can set it up as event?

I need the button functionality but I need it to be transparent. How can I do this?

I just started with Construct 2 days ago and perhaps this is something obvious, but I have to add long text that has multiple paragraphs into the game. The Text object does not seem to allow me to add breaks between paragraphs. Am I missing something?

Actually, I just covered the card with an invisible button, which I will use later. This took care of the issue.

I have an Mouse event that flips cards when you click on them and sets their a specific position x.y for each. I created a variable "cardPosition". On each click, I add value to the variable. I also set up a condition: if cardPosition = 1 set position to x.y.

The problem is that when I click twice on the same card (that was flipped already), it messes everything up.

So my question is... I set up boolean variable FaceUp. How to add it to that Mouse event so that when the card is Face up, nothing happens when you click on it?

Hi Kyatric! The tutorial is great. I was able to make changes so that I can assign the card position after I click on it. I've been trying to make one other change but I think it's way too complicated.. I'm trying to spread the cards in a sort of a fan, (each card cover the one before it with a bit of a offset or padding on the left) instead of placing in a tableau. Any suggestion how to go about it?
