That design style is called "Memphis."
Hmmm. I still see it when I run Construct 3 in Chrome. Construct 2's sprite editor the color smooth fades to transparent such that there's no telling where transparent ends and white begins. Chrome there' s a big fat line... where it looks like the lowest alpha level it can display is like 32... then abruptly drops off to zero.
Looks like the alpha thing works in the latest version. I did my 7drl in Construct 2. My main problem is I believe chrome's fault which is the colors are messed up.

Yeah it's the color gradient. Chrome at some point lost its color resolution.

I wonder which version of NodeJS we should go back to to avoid this. It makes my games look bad.

Chrome vs Edge: Edge still has smooth shading and chrome looks blocky. Like not as many shades. What's up with that?
Is there any update about the washed out colors in Chrome and Firefox? This effects Construct 2 and Construct 3.
What about alpha 0 being black in Construct 3?
Is there a plugin for C3 as well?
I thought they addressed this in an earlier release. It may be related to the fact that on Chrome for me alpha 1 looks like alpha 32 or so, so it's impossible to get smooth lighting effects and it VGAs up all the colors.
Is alpha and all colors 0 supposed to come out black? Why not transparent like C2?
OK . No this is just clicking with a pure white brush in the sprite editor for each. No importing or anything.
I tried making a white ball in construct 2 and imported it into construct 3 and same effect. ball is different in c3 with definite "edge"
Here's a white ball with smoothing on on construct 2:

See how smooth and fadey?
Here's the same thing in construct 3

It's more solid and dithered. Like I'm running in Windows 95 mode or something.
It's all rough around the edges:

What's going on?
And can I export a c3 game to c2 if I can't figure out how to get the colors to not look like it's 1992?
You probably need to use a forEach loop through your objects so you're only picking one at a time or something.
