  • Greeting,

Coping is a short, very dark art game. Use arrow keys or WASD to move and select answers. Space to advance dialog and confirm answer selection. Here it is.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

  • I'm definitely going to be participating in this later today!

  • Sorry to double post, but I really need help with this. I'm very much out of my depth as to how I should go about solving this problem.

  • Thank you for the suggestion, but that doesn't fit my needs. I need the follower to move at the same speed as the leader.

  • Alright, I'm using the grid movement tutorial found in the How Do I? section to make grid movement via the bullet attribute.

How should I adapt your advice into this method of movement?

    EDIT: Here's my Capx dropbox.com/s/d5q3ix4a4mooa2i/Pong%20Coach%20Champ.capx

  • Hey guys,

I'm trying to make a follower npc that follows a pc on a grid-based movement system. Think Dragon Warrior II or Pokemon Yellow or HeartGold/SoulSilver

I think I might have to use arrays to get this to work, but I'm not quite sure how to go about that. I think I need to find a way to store directional inputs and then have the follower simulate that input the next time the pc moves.

    Thoughts?

  • (Another hijack) Is there any way to have a blinking cursor at the end of this effect?

  • Actually, I think I figured it out. I had not put my .woff and css into the public dropbox folder XD

EDIT: No it's not apparently. I'm using Chrome. I have the font installed on my computer. I followed the tutorial that's on this website. I don't think that posting a capx will really do much good, as this is something that works perfectly on my own pc and not on the computers of others.

EDIT AGAIN: Apparently I wasn't patient enough. It's fixed.

  • I followed the webfont tutorial and got the font to appear in my game when I ran the preview. When I exported the project and uploaded it, I found that when I loaded the game I experienced the font that I had chosen. However, it appears that everyone else isn't seeing the font that I have selected and hosted.

    What did I do wrong?

  • Thanks!!!

  • Here

  • I'm trying to have background music that loops, with it eventually stopping the loop and then finishing the music.

Currently the loop won't stop, even after I put in the command to stop looping.

I have the loop starting once the "start" button is pressed, and it stopping when a "scene" and "line" variable are satisfied. However, the loop doesn't stop.

    Any thoughts guys?
