  • this is what i done...just for test purpose...for the overlaping Edges when coming from another angle/side ill be looking the solution for that,to make the "hole effect" around in 360 degrees no matter where it comes from

  • Thx, that will work fine for what i need

    but how about if the ball comes from the bottom? I think i would need to invert the trick and put another "invisible" sprite at the top...so to make the trick then i need to get where from is coming the ball, if from the top or bottom, and finally applying the z-order to the respective bottom/top sprite...

    and when the ball complete overlaps that invisible sprite, destroy it or make it spawn in other location as a Portal game hehe, i will post a capx later

    thx again ill try that and the idea i got from your reply...of course any other method is always welcome

  • Hi guys, i have 2 sprites, the ball has the Physics behavior just to fall into the green hole Sprite...

    So i dont know how to make the "going through the hole" effect... like this

    I dont want it to make disappear the Ball when it overlaps the Green Hole, i want to make the effect like shown in the picture, how i can make this possible? i couldnt find anything related to this in the tutorials or manual

    maybe you know the logic / trick to make that effect with these 2 sprites let me know how to

  • So, i deleted my Temp Windows Files with CCleaner and all gone? after that i couldnt recover my test project xD!

    lucky me im just testing...

    ps... by the way, i recovered th Test project by renaming projectname.capx.backup1 to projectname.zip and then extracted the files...all working again, as Ashley said in other recovering thread

  • Hi all...

    Im making my first game, im trying to make something similar to BasketballShot from Android...

    The thing is, how should i manage every level?

    Should i make an Event Sheet/Layout for every level?

    the logic will be the same for every level, impulse a ball from the bottom right to the left target...and the difficult would be adding objects betweetn Target and Ball...so every level will add new objetcs and new movement for these...

    im planning to have like 100 levels or more...so what is the best way to Organize and dont have Layouts/EventSheets in vain or duplicate just to do the same Events?

    I have the PNG image in my computer, what is the best option to import it...Sprite or TileBackground Object or other?

    and how to make an event when the Object is touched/clicked it will make to open an URL in the Browser?

    i tried with this [i've imported the image as Sprite]

    *That event works only in PC, but when i see it in my Smartphone it wont open the URL, what could be the problem? i've tried with Default Android Browser, Chrome or UC Browser....still wont work the image LINK

    but that still showing black sidebars...

    as im going to make only for test Android games for now, i will keep using 1280x720 layout size and use Letterbox Scale...i've tested with emulators and real devices and it seems ok, even when black bars appears in the Top/Bottom

    but i really want to know how to avoid this, i cant find a "easy" tutorial to make my game fullscreen in any Screen Size

  • hey GameThirsty, i do use Scale Outer 1280x720 but i see a white bar to the right in bigger sizes and diff aspec ratio, how to fix this hehe would be great the .capx example

  • thx for reply, as you can see, im trying to make the project the best way possible from the beginning...

    i dont understand very well that Topic ...it says a lot, the tutorial for multiple screen resolution says we should use a 16:9 ratio and make it Letterbox Scale but it will show black bars to the sides...which resolution/layoutSize is best to avoid the black bars?

    now im testing the same Layout size 1280x720 and Scale Outer...with bigger background, it seems fine but then i think i would need to center every object used later right?.

    using this in a Note 3 which is Full HD resolution size will look the same as in 1280x720 HD devices?

    i would appreciate a .capx file from anyone's Screen configuration just to take a look and test with my project, thx in advance

    Im new with Construct2 [even when i heard about it a couple of years ago]...i was following the Tutorial from here:

    I will make my Game with 1280x720 16:9 aspect ratio, but when i run the preview in my laptop 1366*768 it gives me a White space to the right when using a different Resolution and Also via LAN in my Lumia 520 Browser which is 800x480 resolution...the same for Galaxy S3, even when this screen resolution is the same

    How can i do to make it full screen or stretch correctly without White/Black spaces to the RIGHT?

  • If you want to start using Drupal and use it like an arcade games site, you need to learn basic things about HTML,PHP and MySQL :D

    It's very easy to learn these languages -_^

    I do my sites by coding it from scratch,i use PHP,MySQL and CSS...that's enough for what i need...now im just learning about Construct2 and after im gonna make games and combine with my sites, that's really nice for me,im a non-professional "webmaster" who likes to do his own things ^_^

    For you the "easy" part it's making your games with C2, but the "hard" one it's to make the site to integrate your community xD!

    so You need to learn what we recommended to you, and i need to learn about Construc,im new with it !
