    Im currently making a board game (capx included), and I can't seem to figure out how to keep track of where my game-brick is, and using this value to move it. Lets say Brick is in the array at 0,0,1 , 0,0,0 (X and Y). How do I make this the current active slot i my array, and adding 1 to this concerning the brick moving to the right (Array (1,0,1 , 1,0,0).

    I'm sure this is hard to understand, I'm not skilled at explaining it, but if someone has an idea, I would really appreciate it!

  • Hi guys :)

    I'm currently making a board game. The game itself is circular, and I'm planning to use an array to map all the positions at the game board. The problem I am currently having is that I can't seem to add an image point or a coordinate for that sake as a value in my array.

    Lets say, that I want to assign the position X0, Y0 at the game board to position X0Y0 in the array, just to make it easy. There is no way to just set XY to X0,Y0 or ImagePoint1.

    I have thought about maybe adding an instance variable that represents every slot in the game, and use that to map the position, and then just refer to that instance variable in the corresponding array-position.

  • Hi! :)

    I have this problem... my fog looks good and all, but it resets everytime I enter a new layout, so at first there is no fog, and then it gradually comes out of thin air. I can't think of a way to make it already be there when I enter the layout. I suppose I could make a custom startup-fog out of sprites that gradually fades while the other one is forming? But that makes it way more time consuming. Any ideas? :)

  • I am completely sure that I did everything right, but it still does not work... I have "System - Overlapping object: Portal Action Go to layout2. The player is also Global.
