    I have to use one of the following metric/analytics services in the game I'm developing:

    mobileapptracking.com

    appsflyer.com

    adjust.com

    (please do not ask why these 3. let say, this is a requirement. I know about existence of the excelent C2 plugin for flurry. But flurry can not be used in my case)

    Has anybody some expirience using the above mentioned services with Construct 2?

    I see one of these services offers a JavaScript SDK:

    So, very probably, I will use this SDK...

    Any advice how to integrate such SDK with Construct 2?

    (I succesfully avoided Javascript development all my life... probably now it is time to dive into it...)

  • On June 5 I visited office Ludei in San Francisco. I spoke with lead developer Iker Jamardo. I explained him one more time our problems with dynamic memory management and got explanation why it is not easy but they will try hard <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> . June 5 was Wednesday and he expected to publish v1.4 on June 9 ( today June 26).

    He wrote email to Ashley in front of me. We should ask Ashley what this email about.

    Ludei it is small startup from Spain. Today whey got 1.5 mill dollars , so they have some money to develop cocoonjs.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Set orientation with Intel XDK plagin to Landscape

    2. Publish with option DirectCanvas

    2. Just run on ipad with Intel XDK.

    Observed result:

    Screen was oriented properly (landscape)but re-sizing was not done and right side of the screen was in black.

    If I try to publish with option "Use phone browser " everything is fine.

    Expected result:

    I expected to to get picture with size 1024 X 768 that fill out whole screen.

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes

    Firefox: yes

    Internet Explorer: yes

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 8

    Construct 2 version:

    r128.2

    Test need to be done on ipad2 or ipad3

    1. Just start the program (picture and voice on one layout , then program going to other layout with other picture and voice and then going back up to all voices is finished )

    2. click the screen and wait up to program stop to work .

    Program written as you recommended. It start sounds only ones(triggers plus flag) . Program works on PC at any browser. On ipad2 it stops always somewhere in the middle.

    The only way to make program to work stable is delete all ogg files from folder media . After that no problems at all!!!.

    So it looks as constructor or ios 6 sometimes try to play wrong file types.

    I send all pictures and sound that participate in the loop because I can not predict when problem is happens but code is straightforward and simple

  • I need help to resolve 2 issues .

    1.In my program loop stops to work because of problem as I believe with performance/and or sound in Safari for ipad2(ios6).

    2. Can not open in ipad2 with cocoonjs(ipad3 is opened and working properly but sometimes get out from running)

    PS . I can not have less pictures and they compressed already to PNG8 .

    Program works without problem on PC(google chrome), cocoonjs on ipad3 (can not open in ipad2(black screen after unzip))

  • Hi! I have capx that run on Google Chrome without problem but if I try to run the same project on ipad2 in Safari ios 6 I got problems - after 10-12 iterations my loop is stopped to work because sound stops to work and tag for end of the sound does not trigger events.

    I have pretty big project with pic and sound around 22M on server (53 on the disk) , I deleted code that is not important for that bug. So pay attention only code for "layout1" and layout "word". Programs should run by itself but do not forget in the beginning click a few times by screen(to activate sound)   . Why at different point of loop sound stop to work?

    Update: I deleted all ogg files from folder and after that it started to work correctly! But it means I need provide two version of the game?

  • One more questions. What sound format must be loaded for Android? I thought it should be ogg , but in reality played format mp4(I deleted all sound with format ogg). Did I miss something here?
