  • era,

You're absolutely correct indeed, "Who wouldn't want to participate in a project due to release on PS4?".

    That's a fantastic opportunity, nice work scoping out the prospect!   <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hi mochakingup,

Just played your game. It took a while to load, but once I was in I really liked it. Nice tutorial, smooth game-play and animations. Also like the style of your graphics (very original).

Good luck with it, I'm sure it'll do well :)

  • Hi fumeque,

I looked at your capx, and you just needed to 'Tag' your sound with the same name you're calling in the stop action (i.e. Tag = "Sonido de Timbre pner en juegos").

Here's your update project (capx fixed)

    Hope that helps :)

  • damainman,

Nice work, very cool! Reminded me of Outrun (even though character is a person and not a car!). Even the music brought back memories of speeding around race tracks in an open top sports car (probably the closest I'll ever get to the real thing!)

Anyway I digress - I checked the demo on my laptop (brand new, 8GB RAM, Intel i5, Intel HD graphics card), and it ran as smooth as silk. Also check on my PC (3yrs old, 3GB RAM, Pentium dual core, Intel G41 graphics card). You could definitely notice a frame rate slow down, and picture did stutter a little, but it was still playable.

Hope that helps mate, and keep up the great work, looks awesome.

Glad you've got it working now! Don't worry it takes a while to become familiar with some of this stuff, I'm sure you'll be up and running in no time.

  • mineet,

Good call, perhaps beer could work better than coffee?

    :)

  • ,

The 'Trigger once while true' condition should work for you.

If you are already using a variable to count from 0-10, you could try setting up an event which states:

    • 'Your variable' = 5 && Trigger once while true

    -> Spawn your object

This way every time your variable goes through it's count (0-10), and hits 5 it should trigger!

Note: Trigger once while true, only means that it will trigger the condition once, every time it is true.

    :)

  • pixel perfick,

Hey Mr Grumpy, have you had your coffee yet, and are you feeling better now? I can see what you mean though, the positioning does take a little getting used to.

Hmmmm... You know your getting old, when change starts to become an annoyance!

Welcome to C2! Really like your graphics, they're very striking.

Don't worry too much about the whole novice programmer thing. C2 is fairly quick and easy to pick up. Plus there are lots of friendly people on the forum, who are always happy to help you out!

Good luck and I look forward to seeing more of you work :)

  • Dave Hailwood,

Damn revenge killings, and the AI seems to get six's on a suspiciously regular basis! As you may be able to tell, I got my butt seriously whooped!!!

Nice update though, not sure I'll be able to beat your 750! But I'll keep trying!!!

  • No problem, happy to help :)

  • Hi Sollaano,

I think I understand you're question, and you'll need to create a global variable that holds the overall money total. You can then use this in every layout, allowing you to keep track of all the money you've collected.

You should be able to use the WebStorage plugin to save global data between sessions.
