  • I know that if I change the default controls to no, I can manually assign each movement to a key and then set a key to stop, but is there a way to do that without changing the default control?

  • Hello, well as the title said I have an object with 8 directions behavior and the default control set on, I tried creating an event to stop 8 direction when pressing a key, setting the speed or acceleration to 0, etc; but it still move. Is there a way to make is stop moving without changing the default control?

  • OK I manage to do it, I dont know if it would cause problems later on but I in all the walking animation properties I set them to loop and add this:

    Can anyone explain me how those events make the animation A to happen while holding the UP arrow first and then press RIGHT. And the animation B to happen while holding the RIGHT arrow first and press UP??

  • I tried that but the animation cycles wont even start.

    And if I change the sub event to press instead of down, it will do just 1 full cycle but wont loop.

  • Hello, my problem is that I want different animations when pressing something like up+right, but I want animation A to happen while holding the UP arrow first and then press RIGHT. And the animation B to happen while holding the RIGHT arrow first and press UP.

  • Hello, I am just starting using the Construct 2 program and I can get my sprite animate the 4 main directions( up, down, right, left), but I cant get the animation to work when pressing 2 keys for the angles, for example pressing up+right the sprite moves but the animation wont.
