  • Kinda makes sense. But who knows what all goes on behind close doors. I'm sure they have their reasons.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • I have done this in Processing. What you may need to do is use processing to access the port then map the data to something else like keystrokes. Will reply in more detail when not on a cell phone.

  • Beautiful work, chrisbrobs

  • Hi Naelian,

It's my pleasure to check out your work. Yes, the link you provided above works perfect for me. The controls are such that sometimes I end up in a spin, but that would be my only critique given that this is a demo. I do not have copperlicht or coppercube installed on my machine. So, I've no idea why others are having problems.

Question: Since I see you have lighting working (I assume it is not pre-baked into the textures), would it be possible to utilize shaders? I'm so anxious for shaders to be implemented in C2 - even just normal and spec maps would make a world of difference.

    Keep up the great work!

  • You should create a layer on the top called GUI (have the parallax set to 0,0) and set your health bar graphics layer to the GUI layer.

Edit: Also, I can create a tutorial for creating a dyanmic HP bar if you like. My project's HP/MP meters works in that fashion and has the "bar/meter" part overlaid on a border graphic.

    I would like that tutorial!

  • Works great on my machine (Win7 64, Chrome)! Very, very cool.

  • Thank you so much! This is a huge help! So greatly appreciate you taking the time to build an example project. :D

  • Remove the image from your wall, untag yourself if you are tagged, delete "friend" or anyone else who is giving you are hard time (if it really bothers you), and report image to facebook. This is not a C2 problem.

Or just go with it and laugh too. It is an amazing experience to rid yourself of shame. Unfortunately this is usually a function of age. The older you get, the less you care about what other people think, say, or do.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Greetings! I am hoping to make a GUI using Construct2 that will be controlling a separate application. Well, essentially I am making a virtual version of an ergodesk keyboard. It is really quite simple but I need to be able to emulate a keyboard stroke such that if some one clicks or taps (on a tablet) a particular button, that it will generate a keystroke.

Is there a way to do this in Construct2? I could do this in Processing but I very much want it to be HTML5 while at the same time pushing Construct2 as a great tool for use within my lab.

    Thank you in advance.
