  • Just spent like 30 minutes making a bug report about IAP but I got logged out so I'm just going to reply here. When I have the IAP in a project I can no longer preview on android (over wifi) at all, it just crashes. This is sudden and I can reproduce the error in a completely empty capx with the IAP plugin added in the project. As soon as I remove it it works fine. This problem doesn't show up in preview on PC or iOS. It seems to have something to do with the cws-buy.js file generated by the IAP plugin.

    Furthermore I had to switch to a 3rd party IAP plugin because I was experiencing many of the bugs in this post. It's a shame because 3rd party plugins don't have the best support and I would really like to use the included plugins exclusively.

    I know this isn't proper bug report format but I hope this info helps resolve this.

    I have 2 third party plugins installed but everything was working fine before and I havent changed anything that is related to them.

    I only get this error on Android devices. PC and iOS works fine. It also works when exported to Android (however I get unpredictable results using the Browser plugin to detect internet connection as stated above)

    I havent had any luck reproducing this in a simpler capx yet.

  • On further testing it seems that completely unrelated events toggle this. Is this a bug?

  • I've been trying to use the browser "Is online" function and getting back unreliable results. It well say online for a while and then it will say offline even when I am connected. The same is true when I put the device into Airplane Mode, completely unpredictable. I have tested this on 2 different devices so I'm pretty sure it is not a hardware thing. Would really appreciate help, this is the only thing stopping me from publishing my game.

  • I want players to be able to access their progress across all of their devices. Does anyone know of a 3rd party plugin for this?

    Perhaps there is an alternative? It would be nice to be able to download and upload .json files based on the user's Google Play information (I have already implemented achievements, leaderboards, and IAP's this way using the Cranberry 3rd party plugins)

    Last time I had this problem it had to do with putting the app id in the config file.

    In config.xml on this line:

    <plugin name="https://github.com/cranberrygame/cordova-plugin-game --variable APP_ID='YOUR-APP-ID-HERE'" source="npm" />

    You need to grab your app id from the Google Play Dev Console and paste it every time you export from Construct 2. Every time you export it gets overridden back to the default text.
